Our businesses are demonstrating strong profitable growth following a change of operating model placing focus on business autonomy supported by a small but highly skilled team of central finance professionals driving performance improvements across the markets and central functions. /p /br /brpAs RTR Global Process Owner, you will be the end-to-end process responsible for the Record-to-Report cycle across Adevinta's international markets. You will own process design, governance, and continuous improvement across key sub-processes including General Ledger, Intercompany, Month-End Close, Master Data Management (MDM), Payroll Accounting, and Fixed Assets. Operating in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment, you will work closely with Accounting, Controlling, FPA, Treasury, and other key finance stakeholders to drive standardization, efficiency, and compliance on a global scale. /p /br /brpThis is a high-impact role suited to a process leader who thrives in complex, matrixed organizations and is comfortable engaging with senior management, driving change, and delivering results in a fast-moving environment. /p /br /brh3Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is strongly preferred. /li /brliProven experience as a Global Process Owner, Process Lead, or related Finance position with specific ownership of RTR in a multinational or global business services environment. /li /brliDeep knowledge of the RTR process cycle, including General Ledger, Intercompany, Month-End and Year-End Close, MDM, Fixed Assets,
and Payroll Accounting interfaces. /li /brliCritical hands-on experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA); familiarity with SAP configuration concepts impacting RTR is essential. /li /brliExperience with BlackLine or equivalent account reconciliation / financial close management platforms. /li /brliExposure to additional finance systems such as OneStream or CRMs is an advantage. /li /brliStrong understanding of IFRS and experience working in multi-GAAP, multi-currency environments. /li /brliUnderstanding of internal control frameworks and SOX compliance. /li /brliTrack record of leading or significantly contributing to finance transformation projects, including ERP implementations or shared services migrations. /li /brliFluent English is essential; additional European languages (Spanish, French, German) are a strong plus. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Other Requirements /h3 /brul /brliProven ability to report to and influence senior management and Heads of Finance; comfortable engaging at C-suite level. /li /brliStrong verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. /li /brliInternational mindset with experience navigating multicultural, matrixed organizations. /li /brliWillingness to travel occasionally to support stakeholder engagement across markets. /li /brliExcellent time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines. /li /brliCollaborative team player with a global mindset; versátil and able to quickly adjust to changing priorities. /li /brliProblem-solving approach to process and people challenges, with a delivery and results-oriented mindset. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Job Responsibilities /h3 /brh3Process Ownership Governance /h3 /brul /brliOwn and maintain the end-to-end RTR process framework, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and controls documentation. /li /brliDefine and enforce global RTR standards across all markets, ensuring alignment with IFRS regulation. /li /brliAct as the primary escalation point for RTR process issues, decisions, and exceptions across the organisation. /li /brliLead the RTR process governance forum, engaging cross-functional and cross-market stakeholders on a regular basis. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Stakeholder Engagement Communication /h3 /brul /brliPartner closely with Accounting, Controlling, FPA, Treasury, Tax, and external auditors to align on process requirements and outcomes. /li /brliBuild strong relationships with Heads of Finance and senior leadership across markets; able to credibly present to and influence C-suite audiences. /li /brliTranslate complex process and technical topics into clear, concise communications and management reporting.
/li /brliOperate confidently in an international environment, navigating cultural differences and multiple time zones. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Systems Technology /h3 /brul /brliServe as the RTR subject matter expert for SAP (S/4HANA), overseeing system configuration decisions that impact the RTR landscape, including MDM, Intercompany, Payroll Accounting postings, and Fixed Assets. /li /brliDrive integration and optimization of complementary platforms such as BlackLine for account reconciliations and close management. /li /brliCollaborate with Finance Systems (FinSys) and IT teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations impacting RTR processes. /li /brliPromote the adoption of AI and automation tools to reduce manual effort and increase reporting accuracy. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Continuous Improvement Transformation /h3 /brul /brliIdentify and prioritise process improvement opportunities across the RTR cycle, from journal entry to financial close and external reporting. /li /brliLead or support finance transformation initiatives, including ERP changes/upgrades, shared services transitions, and process automation projects. /li /brliBenchmark RTR processes against industry best practice and drive meaningful improvements in close timelines, accuracy, and efficiency. /li /brliFoster a continuous improvement mindset within the RTR community across markets. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Compliance Controls /h3 /brul /brliEnsure RTR processes are compliant with internal control frameworks, SOX requirements, and external audit standards. /li /brliPartner with Internal Control team and external auditors to support reviews and address findings related to RTR. /li /brliMonitor and remediate control gaps, maintaining a robust risk and control matrix for the RTR process area. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Job Benefits /h3 /brpLife at Adevinta comes with its perks!
