The role will be part of a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain) or from home.What you’ll be doing- Build and maintain data pipelines from source systems into Snowflake.- Configure and manage Fivetran data ingestion.- Develop dbt models, tests, macros and documentation.- Design staging, intermediate, mart and semantic data layers.- Define and implement data contracts.- Build automated testing and data quality validation.- Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code to improve engineering productivity.- Work with MCP-connected tools to orchestrate workflows across the data platform.- Review, validate and productionize AI‑generated code.- Contribute reusable templates, best practices and engineering standards.What you’ll bring- 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.- Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake.- Practical experience with dbt Cloud (models, tests, macros, documentation,
