Join us and be part of a team that is shaping the future of logistics automation. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs a Controls Engineer your main functions/ tasks will be: /p ul liProgramming and Commissioning PLC and SCADA, adapting the functionality of the machine to the project definition. /li liResolution and diagnosis of system faults both in the factory and at customer's site. /li liRemote technical support (internal and external) for our install base worldwide /li liTechnical support in FAT and CAT. /li liStart-up in the customer's house with debugging of all the functionalities of the machines /li liProviding customer training /li liGeneration of manuals and technical documentation /li liInform management about the technical situation of the projects in which he has had to assist. /li liGenerate a report on the resolution of each incident so that there is a database to use to base a client's history or subsequent review of a similar breakdown. /li liSupport the departments involved in the project assembly process so that they can provide tools or technical strategies. /li liIncidents managed and creating feedback for the client. /li liSupport products Vanderlande subsystem in the integrated product. /li /ul h3Required Education and Experience: /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology (e.g. Electronics, Mechatronics or Software related) /li li3-5 years' experience in material handling, automation or related industry /li liKnowledge of TIA Portal, WinCC SCADA, etc. /li liUnderstand Electrical drawings. /li liElectrical knowledge for validation, detection of failures,
troubleshooting /li liKnowledge/Experience of EU and US electrical and safety norms. /li liExperience with Frequency Inverters, HMI and other related products /li liExperience in the field withmachine installation/start up/commissioning/service. /li liDirect experience on programming with PLC controlled systems, including safety designs, motor protection and control, and Industrial Communication and networking (i.e. ASibus, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Profinet). /li liExcellent reading/writing/speaking in English /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications: /h3 ul liExperience field engineering on site. /li liExperience in Linux /li liCustomer facing experience /li liAffinity with computer science /li /ul h3What will you be doing? /h3 pAs Controls engineer you will be part of the specialist PAX team. This team is responsible for the deployment and 3rd level support of our systems. Support of our installation base or during installations could take place via a remote connection or onsite if needed. This means you will travel 50-60% of the time. This gives you the opportunities to see different countries and experience different cultures. /p pYou will work with the PAX team on automated airport lines. Manufacturing takes place in Santpedor. When you are not traveling you will be in the factory supporting the service manager, supporting factory/engineering, developments, projects or test scenarios of situations in the field.
