To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Security Presales Engineer to support our customers in Spain.

Role & responsibilities

The Pre‑Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales department in selling Orange Cyberdefense solutions and helping them provide both technical and commercial insights into Orange Cyberdefense offerings.

The Pre‑Sales Engineer has a strong technical background combined with commercial skills, focusing on promoting and positioning Orange Cyberdefense solutions as well as other technologies and services, whether via conference calls or in‑person meetings with potential or existing clients. They are the cornerstone in developing and responding to RFIs and RFPs, participate in preparing cost sheets to determine the project’s P&L;, and assist in closing agreements with the Account Manager.

- Understand Orange Cyberdefense service offerings and stay constantly informed about updates and improvements.





- Lead or contribute to sales and pre‑sales initiatives promoting Orange Cyberdefense services.

- Organize and participate in client meetings.

- Respond to various tenders, proposals, and inquiries, coordinating internal and external stakeholders (e.G., suppliers) as needed.

- Ensure the proposed solution best matches the client’s requirements and expectations, and that it is competitive and profitable.

- Draft responses to tenders (scope of work, pricing, etc.).

- Support sales teams in closing deals.

- Facilitate proof of concepts for services and solutions.

- Attend internal training sessions and those with partners.

- Provide a monthly report of your activities (meetings, calls, training days, POCs, etc.).

- Offer constructive feedback to Marketing and Operations teams based on current market demand to help develop services and solutions.

- Participate in the handover of won contracts to operational teams and provide after‑sales support if needed.

Your strengths and key skills for the position

-

- Hold a Bac+5 degree from an Engineering School in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a Security Engineer/Consultant, preferably in Pre‑Sales, for at least 4 years.

- Experience with managed security service portfolios, particularly SOCs and CyberSOCs.

- Experience in security consulting, including penetration testing.

- Experience in client relations and delivering presentations of all types (conferences, meetings, etc.).





- Language skills: fluency in spoken and written English & Spanish is mandatory (French is a plus).

- Experience in drafting responses to tenders.

- Knowledge of SIEM technologies, including Splunk.

- Understanding of at least 3 of the following technologies: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Symantec, Pulse Secure, Cisco, Zscaler.

- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and fundamental security principles.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Confidence, tenacity, creativity, and flexibility in thinking.

- Certifications in the field would be a plus: CISSP, CISA/CISM, OSCP/OSCE, CEH, CREST.

- Ability to travel to client sites.
