Our RAMS team in Madrid is looking for a Reliability & Maintainability Engineer to support cutting‑edge Space Systems Programmes . You will contribute to the development and assessment of reliability, maintainability and supportability solutions throughout the lifecycle of complex space products and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be mainly involved in:

-

- Reliability and Maintainability engineering activities within Space Programmes.

- FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis) development and assessment for space equipment and systems.

- Reliability predictions and reliability calculations using recognised industry methodologies and tools.

- Reliability modelling and analysis in accordance with applicable customer and space industry standards.

- Maintainability requirements definition and allocation at equipment and system levels.

- Supportability and maintenance concept definition for space systems.

- Spare parts analysis and spares provisioning calculations.





- Supporting the improvement and optimisation of reliability models for mission‑critical hardware.

- Development of operational documentation.

- Assessment of supplier RAMS data packages and verification of compliance with programme requirements.

- Preparation of RAMS reports, technical documentation and customer deliverables.

PROFILE

Familiarity with Space Industry and excellent knowledge of RAMS disciplines .

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

-

- Reliability and Maintainability engineering activities within Space Programmes.

- Performing FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis) analyses on complex systems and equipment.

- Carrying out reliability calculations and reliability prediction activities.

- Knowledge of maintainability and supportability methodologies.

- Spare parts analysis and spares provisioning calculations.

- Experience working in aerospace, defence or space environments.

- Good knowledge of ECSS standards and systems engineering processes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

-

- Knowledge of RAMS analysis methodologies and associated tools.

- Understanding of system architecture and equipment-level reliability modelling.

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.





- Experience with Windchill Quality Solutions (Relex) or equivalent RAMS tools is highly desirable.

LANGUAGES

-

- Advanced level of English (B2‑C1 minimum).

- French language skills are desirable.
