Key Responsibilities

-

- Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for the Spanish entity.

- Prepare and review financial statements in line with Spanish accounting standards and IFRS.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting records.

- Own general ledger accounting, accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.

- Support group reporting requirements and provide high-quality financial input to management.

- Ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP and applicable tax regulations, with support of local tax advisors.

- Support internal and external audits and liaise with auditors.

- Monitor accounts payable and cash flow activities.

- Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and procedures.

- Billing, Accounts Receivable

- Manage the end-to-end billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to customers.

- Review customer contracts and billing terms to ensure invoices are issued in accordance with contractual agreements.

- Partner with sales, operations,



and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer invoice inquiries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.

Required Skills and Experience

-

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.

- Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or local equivalent) is an advantage.

- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
