ph3JOB MISSION: /h3pDesign, simulation, verification and maintenance of control and signal processing algorithms for grid-connected and off-grid power converters. /ph3JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : /h3ulliUse simulation tools to model the power stage of converters. /liliDesign and verify the control algorithms in simulation and give support to real-world verification. /liliVerification of developed algorithms using HIL simulation systems. /liliFollow the UTI-SYS work methodology and workflow, as defined by the department management. /liliResponsibility for the quality of the developed designs and their documentation. /liliResponsibility for meeting development deadlines agreed upon. /liliResponsibility for keeping updated all documentation related to design and verification processes. /li /ulh3JOB FUNCTIONS : /h3h3Usual/Daily: /h3ulliHigh-level systems specification analysis. /liliDesign, model and verification of control algorithms. /liliDesign and verification of signal processing algorithms. /liliWrite technical documentation for developed designs or to give support to other departments. /liliSupport FW verification of implemented control and signal processing algorithms. /liliModel development and maintenance of HIL simulation models. /li /ulh3Periodic/Occasional: /h3ulliParticipation in periodical follow-up department/product meetings. /liliSupport to other departments. /liliAnalysis and testing at customer facilities in cases of support to other departments, or for UTI Design projects. /li /ulh3Required Qualification Experience /h3ulliEngineering or university degree in a science field /liliFluent English and Spanish (written and spoken),



other European languages are a plus. /liliExperience in technical writing (academic level) /lili0-3 years of academic experience in modeling and design of controllers for any of the following applications:ulliSolar inverters. /liliWind power generation. /liliEnergy storage. /liliUninterruptible power supplies. /liliNetwork quality. /liliElectric mobility. /liliElectrical converters. /li /ul /liliAcademic experience in the use of the following modeling and simulating tools for power converters:ulliMatlab/Simulink /liliOctave /liliPSIM /liliPLECS /liliSimba /liliTyphoon HIL /lilior any other HIL system /li /ul /liliSpecific training:ulliKnowledge of dynamic modeling and control theory. /liliOn-the-job training/information (according to ER). /liliVocational training according to the Metal Industry Agreement and job position(s). /liliTraining on ERP management tools used in the company. /liliTraining on technical knowledge of the company's products. /li /ul /li /ulh3Skills: /h3ulliAbility to define control diagrams based on high-level specifications. /liliAbility to conduct literature reviews for state-of-the-art documentation. /liliAbility to synthetize and clearly communicate information. /liliProactivity. /liliRigor, method.
