What you’ll do
- Translate business strategy into HR strategy and priorities.
- Drive performance and people development across teams.
- Lead organizational effectiveness and change initiatives.
- Manage labour relations processes in Portugal, including negotiations with trade unions and employee representatives, while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with management, Centres of Expertise and HR services teams;
contribute to integral HRstrategy discussions;
take ownership of country-level HR projects and initiatives.
- Champion the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to engagement, development, and off‑boarding—ensuring strong people practices across the organization.
Travel requirement: the role requires approximately 50% travel to production facilities in Portugal, with frequent visits to the Portuguese plants to support business operations, collaborate with local teams, and ensure close alignment across sites.

A confident and credible professional who can partner with senior stakeholders and inspire trust through actions. Experience in generalist HR roles within multinational environments is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Law, Labor Relations, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s in HR or MBA is a plus).
- At least 4–5 years of HR generalist or BP experience in labour relations processes in Portugal.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production plant environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
- Knowledge and understanding of Portuguese labour legislation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, international organization.
