Now, let's discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever's mission. /p h3Meet the team /h3 pAt Fever, the Tax team makes sure we stay on top of tax compliance across the group: from sales taxes and deal structuring to reporting obligations and identifying tax opportunities. We work closely with external advisors to validate tax criteria, ensure accurate reporting and drive to optimize processes that streamline the finance function. We also define tax parameters for new business activities, solve compliance issues across markets, and continuously improve tools and processes to support the wider organization. /p pJoin us if you want to navigate general tax landscapes, optimize complex business structures, and drive the financial compliance that keeps Fever growing without a hitch. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs a Tax Manager, you will be playing a key role within Fever's Tax practice, working closely with the Head of Tax and the rest of the team, helping with the tax compliance and tax strategy of the Group. /p pYou will be expected to demonstrate ownership, leadership, and proactivity, getting things done in the tax area of a global, high-growth business.
/p h3What You'll Do /h3 ul liLead and develop a growing tax team, fostering collaboration and accountability. /li liOwn and manage the comprehensive tax calendar for both direct and indirect taxes across all relevant jurisdictions. /li liCoordinate and review the indirect and direct tax compliance processes. /li liResearch and analyse specific indirect and direct taxation matters and provide tailored advice. /li liIdentify risks and potential tax planning opportunities. /li liDetermine uncertain tax exposures and manage appropriate taxation provisioning. /li liCollaborate with third-party service providers as required. /li liWork with the Finance Accounting teams to ensure adequate knowledge and application of taxation laws. /li liSupport all indirect and direct tax audits / inquiries from tax authorities (alongside third-party providers and local finance teams). /li liPreparation of applications for taxation rulings, tax incentives and tax exemptions where available. /li liProvision of advice to senior management on taxation risks and appropriate transaction structures concerning acquisitions. /li liContribute to the improvements and the solutions of tax processes. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pTo be successful in this role, you will have: /p ul liAt least 5 years of relevant senior experience in taxation gained in practice or industry, with a focus on the EMEA region (including Spain, Portugal, UK, and France). /li liProven experience managing, mentoring, or leading team members. /li liSolid experience establishing and monitoring tax calendars for direct and indirect taxes. /li liBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law, or Tax. /li liFinance-oriented mindset with proven tax knowledge across multiple European jurisdictions. /li liProficient Excel user.
