In China Three Gorges (Europe), we’re looking for a Tax Manager to join our company. The adecuado candidate is someone passionate about the renewable energy sector and is looking to work in a leading renewable energy generation multinational group.

Key job responsibilities

The department looks for a profile with a background in taxes, experience leading a tax department in the energy sector and in an advisory firm. The main responsibilities would be the following:

- Management of the tax advisors.

- Coordination with other lines within Finance Department and other Departments.

- Review accounting entries related to taxes.

- Support in M&A; tax DD.

- Monitor claims.

- Lead structure simplification process.

- Manage ongoing procedures related to the assigned portfolios (tax audits).

- Supervision of filing, submission and control the payment on time of periodic tax forms such as WHT tax returns, VAT tax returns, Electricity Taxation tax returns, CIT forms, informative tax returns, census forms and any communication with Tax Authorities (At the State and Local level).

- Monitor and review local taxes.

Working experiences and skills requirements

-

- At least 10 years of experience in Tax.





- From 3–5 years in a position as responsible in a Tax Department, ideally in Energy Industry.

- Experience in external tax services provider.

- Experience in transactions (preparing tax DD, strawman papers).

- Experience in dealing with tax inspections.

- Experience in supervising CIT and VAT compliance.

- Experience in tax groups.

Other requirements

-

- Accounting knowledge will be highly valued.

- Knowledge in international taxes will be highly valued.

- Good communication skills in Spanish and English.

- Used to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

- Used to work within a team.
