As part of the bPSL Scientific Computing /b, you will contribute to providing over 400 simulation engineers with a High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, pre- and post-processing means, predictive applications, data management and other solutions in the simulation toolchain. /p /brpThe IT Operations Specialist for High Performance Computing is the technical specialist for the HPC cluster infrastructure, which are high-end computers used to simulate various aspects of our aircrafts. This role works in conjunction with the Product Manager and is responsible for the optimization, reliability, efficiency and availability of our HPC clusters in an industrialized manner in accordance with best practices, rules and policies.



/p /brh3YOUR CHALLENGES /h3 /brul /brliEnsure and monitor the availability, robustness and performance of the different HPC clusters and maintain the infrastructure (servers, middleware, network, storage, etc) in operational condition in line with OLA/SLAs /li /brliPerform the support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management. /li /brliAnalyse error reports, diagnose issues and take corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, involving other technical teams and vendors as needed. /li /brliCoordinate the process of updating the different components of the HPC clusters, the LSF scheduler configuration as well as the deployed predictive solvers. /li /brliInvolve and communicate to all relevant stakeholders including end users, other teams in Digital, vendors subcontractors, management as well as other Airbus divisions. /li /br /ul /brh3SKILLS /h3 /brh3Must have /h3 /brul /brliFamiliar with Linux server environments /li /brliFamiliar with scripting languages (bash, python, etc) /li /brliFirst experience with HPC systems (as user or administrator) /li /brliStrong interest in deployment, operation and maintenance of complex technical environments /li /brliGood communication skills /li /brliFluent in English (business technical), with a collaborative spirit and strong customer orientation /li /br /ul /brh3NICE TO HAVE /h3 /brul /brliLinux server administration (RHEL 7/8/9) /li /brliTechnical expertise: Hardware infrastructure (servers, network switches etc), network storage, network flows firewall rules /li /brliIdeally experience as HPC administrator: /li /brul /brliHPC job scheduling (such as LSF or Slurm) /li /brliKnowledge around high-speed interconnect (e.g. Infiniband), High Performance Storage (e.g. Panasas)
