As an ECM Analyst II at Santander CIB in Madrid, you will lead the execution of equity and equity-linked transactions, coordinating across clients, legal, auditors, and internal teams. You’ll influence pricing, drafting, and investor strategy while mentoring juniors. The role sits at the center of fast-paced deal execution and market analysis, with a clear impact on franchise positioning and capital markets outcomes. You’ll work within a collaborative, technology-driven environment that values bold thinking and risk-aware decision making.

• Lead day-to-day execution of equity and equity-linked transactions
• Own specific workstreams ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
• Coordinate drafting sessions (prospectus, offering circulars, investor presentations, announcements)
• Manage transaction timetables aligning legal, auditors, client management and internal teams
• Supervise analysts and review financial models, valuation outputs, and marketing materials
• Participate in structuring discussions and pricing strategy




• Conduct in-depth market analysis and support investor targeting and demand assessment
• Develop strategic capital markets ideas and monitor ECM activity and pipeline
• Prepare internal committee materials and support risk and governance processes

Responsabilidades
• Investment Banking or Equity Capital Markets experience (required)
• Equity Markets experience with involvement in live equity or equity-linked transactions
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s preferred
• English proficiency (Spanish required)
• xqbhyrx Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Dealogic
• Execution and project management capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Leadership experience with junior team members
