ph3Position Overview /h3 pChief Executive Officer (CEO) for the ORALREGENERIX project, focused on oral tissue regeneration using handheld bioprinting technology. The role reports to the Advanced Biofabrication for Tissue Engineering research group led by Daniel Nieto at the University of A Coruña. The position is permanent, full‑time, 35 hours per week, starting 1 August 2026, located at CICA Centro Interdisciplinar de Química e Biolóxía. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and execute the business plan. /li liSecure public and private funding (venture capital, business angels, grants, EIC, CDTI, etc.). /li liManage investor relationships and prepare investment rounds. /li liDevelop strategic alliances and commercial agreements. /li liCoordinate regulatory activities and market access strategy. /li liOversee organizational growth and business structuring. /li liRepresent the company before investors, partners, and public bodies. /li liSupport intellectual property and commercialization strategy. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience managing and leading technology or biomedical startups. /li liExperience in investment acquisition and fundraising. /li liExperience negotiating with investors and closing funding rounds. /li liExperience in business development and corporate strategy. /li liKnowledge of the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and technology transfer. /li liExperience in regulated environments (medical devices, biotech, digital health, or similar).



/li liKnowledge of regulations and quality standards applicable to medical devices is an asset. /li liFormer CEO or management team member of a startup. /li liExperience with university spin‑offs. /li liExperience with CE/FDA regulatory processes. /li liExperience implementing quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar). /li liPrevious participation in exits, MA, or business scaling processes. /li liEstablished network of contacts with investors and strategic partners. /li /ul h3Eligibility Criteria /h3 ul liUniversity degree in business management, law, technology, or health sciences. /li liAdditional formation in general management, MBA, finance, entrepreneurship, or innovation. /li liExperience as CEO, COO, CFO, or board member of startups. /li liExperience in biotech, medtech, deeptech, or digital health startups. /li liExperience with fundraising rounds of various sizes and competitive grants. /li liExperience in regulatory affairs (CE/FDA, quality systems) and industrialization or commercialization. /li liExperience in strategic agreements, partnerships, or international expansion. /li /ul h3Employment Details /h3 pContract type: Permanent, full‑time.
