Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a talented Senior Front-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, high-quality user interfaces for critical enterprise applications, ensuring excellent user experience and seamless interaction with backend systems.

How You’ll Make An Impact

-

- Design, develop, and implement responsive, high-performance, and accessible user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular).

- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into clean, maintainable, and reusable front‑end code.

- Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

- Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Apply best practices in front‑end architecture, state management, and component‑based development.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI‑related issues across different environments.

- Implement and maintain front‑end testing strategies (unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests).

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and front‑end best practices.

- Stay up to date with emerging front‑end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

- Coach and support junior front‑end developers, reviewing their work and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

Your Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Front‑End Developer, preferably in enterprise or large‑scale applications.

- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Hands‑on experience with modern front‑end frameworks. Mandatory experience with Angular;
experience with other frameworks such as React or Vue.Js is desirable.

- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.

- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front‑end applications with backend services.

- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.G., Redux, NgRx, Vuex) is a plus.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.G., Jest, Cypress, Playwright) is desirable.

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and UX best practices is a plus.

- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional team.
