With operations spanning multiple countries, the organisation requires a tax professional capable of providing both strategic direction and hands-off oversight of group-wide tax compliance, governance, and optimisation initiatives. /ppReporting into senior finance leadership, this position will play a key role in ensuring the organisation maintains a robust and scalable tax framework as the business continues to grow. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting strategic decision-making, mitigating tax risk, and driving consistency across all European operations. The role offers exposure to complex international tax matters within a fast-paced, multinational environment. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliDefine, implement, and lead the Group's tax strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. /liliOversee direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple European jurisdictions. /liliCoordinate tax calendars, filings, reporting obligations, and compliance activities across the Group. /liliReview and validate tax returns, reporting submissions, and supporting documentation. /liliMonitor changes in European and international tax legislation and assess business impact. /liliLead tax audits, inspections, and enquiries, acting as the primary contact for tax authorities. /liliManage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and specialist consultants. /liliProvide technical tax guidance to support strategic, operational, and investment decisions.



/liliIdentify opportunities to improve tax efficiency while maintaining full regulatory compliance. /liliDevelop and standardise tax processes, controls, and policies across all business units. /liliSupport month-end and year-end financial reporting, including tax provisions and reconciliations. /liliEnsure consistent application of tax policies and best practices across all operating entities. /liliContribute to risk management initiatives and strengthen the Group's tax governance framework. /li /ulh3Skills Experience: /h3ulliStrong knowledge of European and international corporate tax regulations. /liliExperience managing both direct and indirect taxation matters. /liliAbility to interpret and apply tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions. /liliStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership. /liliExperience coordinating external advisors and managing complex tax projects. /liliAdvanced Microsoft Office skills. /liliKnowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools /liliStrong financial accounting and analytical capabilities. /liliFluent Spanish and English B2 minimum. /liliAdditional European languages would be beneficial. /liliDegree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline. /lili5-8 years of experience in international tax, corporate tax, or a similar tax management position. /liliExperience within multinational organisations operating across multiple European countries is highly desirable. /liliBackground in infrastructure, technology, telecommunications, digital services, or other international environments would be advantageous. /li /ulh3Benefits: /h3ulliBonus: 15% per annum /liliHybrid working: 2 days remote working /liliPrivate health insurance /liliTickets restaurant /liliAccess to childcare vouchers /liliSpecialised technical training /li /ulh3Salary: /h3ulli€42,000 - €45,000 /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
