Headquartered in the United Kingdom, INTEC also operates offices in Germany, Türkiye, Spain, Azerbaijan, Romania, Mauritius, Mauritania, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, with plans for further expansion. /ppbSummary /b /ppWe are seeking a Senior Tendering Engineer to lead the technical definition and engineering estimation of utility‑scale Solar PV EPC tenders (and of photovoltaic projects with storage). Based in Madrid, the role has a global scope, supporting bids across all of INTEC's international markets. /ppThis is a senior, hands‑on technical role at the core of the tendering process. The Senior Tendering Engineer is responsible for the technical solution of each offer: the plant design assumptions, the energy yield base case, the performance framework and the complete Bill of Quantities that feeds the project cost sheet. /ppThe successful candidate must be able to produce a Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for a utility‑scale photovoltaic project independently and end‑to‑end, master the energy yield Base Case and the production scenarios (P50/P90), and have a thorough command of performance and Performance Ratio (PR) testing for photovoltaic plants. /ppThis position works in close coordination with the international technical hubs, the Senior Bid/Proposal Manager and the Integral Director of Business Development. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliLead the technical engineering definition of utility‑scale Solar PV and PV‑plus‑BESS EPC tenders across INTEC's global markets. /liliProduce the complete Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for photovoltaic projects independently and end‑to‑end, from the layout and electrical design assumptions to the detailed material take‑off. /liliBuild, own and defend the energy yield Base Case, including PVsyst modeling and production scenarios under different probability‑of‑exceedance cases (P50/P75/P90). /liliDefine and review the performance framework of each offer, including Performance Ratio (PR) guarantees,
the design of capacity/performance tests and the acceptance criteria for photovoltaic plants. /liliTranslate the technical scope into structured, accurate engineering inputs that feed the project cost sheet and pricing matrix. /liliCoordinate and consolidate inputs from the international technical hubs, ensuring consistency, completeness and technical quality across disciplines. /liliAnalyze the tender technical documentation (specifications, grid codes, single‑line diagrams, geotechnical and site data) to identify risks, gaps and optimization opportunities. /liliOptimize the technical solution to improve competitiveness while preserving deliverability and compliance. /liliSupport the Senior Bid/Proposal Manager in preparing technical proposals, clarifications and the technical narrative of each offer. /liliEngage with equipment suppliers (modules, inverters, structures, BESS) to obtain technical data and validate design assumptions. /liliParticipate in client clarification rounds, technical QA and negotiation when required. /liliCapture lessons learned and contribute to the standardization of engineering estimation tools, templates and benchmarks. /liliCollaborate in opening new markets and in proposals to key clients, leading the part related to their area of expertise. /li /ulpbQualifications /b /pulliUniversity degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Energy or similar); a postgraduate qualification in renewable energy is an advantage. /liliProven experience of 5 to 7 years as a tendering/estimation engineer in utility‑scale Solar PV EPC projects. /liliProven ability to produce a complete Bill of Quantities for a photovoltaic project independently and end‑to‑end. /liliThorough command of the energy yield Base Case and production modeling, including PVsyst and the P50/P90 exceedance scenarios. /liliSolid knowledge of performance and Performance Ratio (PR) testing, capacity tests and acceptance criteria for photovoltaic plants. /liliSolid knowledge of photovoltaic plant design: layout, structures, DC/AC electrical design, BOS, grid connection and high‑voltage interfaces.
/liliExperience with photovoltaic‑plus‑storage (BESS) configurations will be a significant advantage. /liliCommand of PVsyst, PVcase/AutoCAD and advanced cost modeling in Excel. /liliStrong analytical, organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tenders. /liliExperience coordinating multicultural technical teams and international hubs. /liliFluent in English and Spanish; additional languages will be valued positively. /liliRight to work in Spain or the EU. /liliPassion for sustainability and commitment to quality and innovation. /li /ulpbCompany Values /b /ppbCustomer Orientation: /b We strive for the highest standards in all our projects and services, ensuring our clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs. /ppbInnovation: /b We embrace new technologies and creative solutions to drive progress in the renewable energy sector, constantly seeking ways to improve and innovate. /ppbAdaptability: /b We respond proactively to evolving market dynamics and technological advancements in the energy transition. /ppbIntegrity: /b We conduct our business with honesty, transparency and respect for all stakeholders, maintaining the highest ethical standards. /ppbSustainability: /b We believe in long‑term impact and responsible development to support the global energy transition. /ppbReliability: /b We are committed to delivering consistent, dependable results, ensuring our projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. /ppbWhat We Offer /b /ppCompetitive salary package. /pp22 Annual Leave Days (in accordance with applicable local legislation, excluding public holidays). /ppOpportunity to join a rapidly growing and leading global company in the renewable energy sector. /ppA dynamic and collaborative international work environment. /ppProfessional development and career growth opportunities. /ppThe chance to play a decisive role in shaping competitive strategy and driving global project success. /ppWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
