You will take ownership of credit underwriting monitoring activities at Novicap with the view to reduce and mitigate the impact of credit and fraud risk. Given that providing financing to SMEs and mid-market corporates is core to our vision, managing credit and fraud risk is crucial to Novicap’s continued success. /p pSounds interesting? Keep reading! /p h3What will you do? /h3 pAs mentioned, you will take ownership of credit underwriting monitoring activities at Novicap. /p pIn order to achieve your mission, you will: /p ul liExecute end-to-end risk analysis for new and existing clients (Corporate Rating/Risk Basket and Direct Risk assignment) using the Novicap Platform and external tools. /li liPerform fraud checks and operational viability filters before deep financial analysis. /li liAssess and value third-party credit assignments (recurrent cash flows or contracts) using Novicap’s Collateral methodology. /li liApprove transactions within assigned attributions or prepare comprehensive "Risk Reports" to elevate complex cases to the Underwriting Manager or the Underwriting Committee. /li liManage daily alerts via the Early Warning System (e.g. CIRBE changes, tax debts, unpaid bureaus) and resolve account blocks in coordination with Operations. /li liEnsure all assigned Debtors and Suppliers have valid, up-to-date Risk Reports, based on the relevant frequency (from quarterly to annually, depending on the case). /li liParticipate in weekly or monthly coordination with other teams (e.g. Collections, Operations, Commercial) and document lessons learned in internal documents. /li /ul pIn doing so, you will contribute to the achievement of Novicap’s long-term growth plans.

We are a young and dynamic team that’s waiting for you with arms open! /p h3You are the right fit if you have: /h3 ul liA Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, or Finance. /li liA minimum of 5 years experience working as a credit underwriting analyst in a top 5 bank, an alternative lender, or a Big 4 in Spain. /li liProficiency in financial statement analysis and accounting principles. /li liAn understanding of Working Capital products (Factoring, Confirming). /li liThe ability to work within the Novicap Platform and Dashboards. /li liThe ability to synthesize complex financial data (PL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) into a clear "Risk Basket" (1-19), according to the Underwriting Policy /li liThe capability of making autonomous decisions within the Attribution Matrix. /li liThe ability to explain rejections or conditions clearly to Commercial teams ("Reject and Explain" protocol).
