In this role, you won’t just be "testing" software; you will be building the infrastructure and tools that enable hundreds of developers to ship high-quality code at speed. As part of the Quality Platform team, your mission is to design, maintain, and evolve the ecosystem used to test our complex microservices architecture. You will be a force multiplier, creating the tools and processes that make quality a seamless part of the developer experience. /p pThis is a hybrid role based in our Barcelona office. /p h3bIn This Role You Will /b /h3 ul libBuild Tools: /b Design and maintain internal tools, frameworks, and platforms that streamline testing across our microservice landscape. /li libChampion GitOps: /b Work closely with DevOps and SRE teams to integrate quality gates into our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD. /li libEvolve Architecture: /b Consult on the testability of our microservices and ensure our platform scales with our growth. /li libSet Standards: /b Define company-wide quality processes, moving beyond manual checks to automated, resilient systems. /li libMentor: /b Act as a technical leader within the Quality community at N26, mentoring other engineers and advocating for a "Quality First" mindset. /li /ul h3bWhat You Will Bring Along /b /h3 ul libAn Ownership Mindset:

You don’t wait for instructions; you identify bottlenecks and solve them. /li libStrong Coding Fundamentals: /b You have a deep understanding of programming principles. Whether it’s Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or Python, you write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. /li libMicroservices Expertise: /b You have experience working in complex, distributed environments and understand how to test communication between services. /li libContainerization Knowledge: /b You are comfortable working with Docker to containerize test environments and tools. /li libThe "Plus" Factor: /b You have a strong affinity for GitOps/DevOps cultures.
