ph3Overview /h3 pJoin our Business Aviation Training Centre in Vienna (Schwechat) as Regional Training Standards Manager, supporting CAE’s global Civil Aviation Training team. Our newly opened centre hosts state‑of‑the‑art Full Flight Simulators, including the G550, PH100/300, Global 7500, and Global 6000 Vision, with capacity to expand to nine simulators. This 8,000‑sqm facility is designed to provide the most advanced pilot training environment in Central Europe. /p h3In This Role, You Will /h3 ul liProvide regional leadership, coordination, and oversight of multiple Local Training Standards Leads to ensure consistent implementation of global standards and harmonised training practices across all Training Centres. /li liCoach, guide, and evaluate Local Training Standards Leads to maintain consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance. /li liTranslate global initiatives into actionable regional plans and support Training Centre Leaders in customer and internal training delivery. /li liMonitor, analyse, and report on regional OKRs, KPIs, and performance metrics related to instructor qualifications, observation programmes (IPPM/DOI), audit findings, and training quality. /li liIdentify regional trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide data‑driven recommendations to the Global Head of Standards. /li liOversee delivery of Civil General IDT and other instructor training activities, ensuring alignment in courseware, methodology, and delivery standards. /li liAct as a strategic advisor, aligning global standardisation policies with regional operational requirements and supporting regulatory interpretation. /li liDevelop and facilitate structured regional governance, ensuring effective communication between Local Training Standards Leads, Training Standards Specialists, Training Managers, Centre Leaders, and global leadership. /li liSupport efficiency in instructor time to qualification by collaborating with Operations to align business needs, regulatory requirements, and training delivery. /li liPromote a regional culture of excellence, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the Standards community. /li liManage responsibilities across multiple training centres, including remote leadership across different time zones and cultures.



/li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liHold or have held an EASA ATPL or CPL licence. /li liHold or have held either: ul liFAA instructor certificate, or /li liPart‑FCL instructor certificate (EASA), or /li liEquivalent 900(c) qualification aligned with ATO training courses. /li /ul /li liMinimum of three years’ experience delivering or managing instructor training within an ATO and/or AOC environment. /li liExtensive experience in training MPA pilots for professional licences and/or associated ratings. /li liExperience in Multi‑Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Crew Resource Management (CRM). /li liWorking knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., Part‑FCL/ORA, CFR Part 61, 135, 142). /li liStrong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and develop training leaders. /li liDemonstrated ability to analyse and interpret performance data (OKRs, KPIs, audits). /li liExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. /li liStrong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across global and regional stakeholders. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPoint. /li liAbility to work across cultures, time zones, and diverse training environments. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience across multiple domains (e.g., BAT, CAT, FTO). /li liExperience supporting multiple business units and managing complex training ecosystems. /li liProven ability to implement and harmonise global standardisation policies across diverse environments. /li liExperience in regional or multi‑site leadership roles. /li liStrong capability in influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic initiatives. /li liDemonstrated experience building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liOccupational Pension Plan – employer contributions toward your future. /li liGroup Accident Insurance – full coverage during work and leisure time. /li liEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
