ppThe Product Stewardship Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with integral chemical and material regulations and managing product stewardship requirements across the product portfolio. The role focuses on substance compliance, regulatory reporting, and safe product composition management throughout the product lifecycle. /p pThis position supports the implementation of regulatory requirements and internal compliance systems, ensuring alignment with applicable global chemical regulations and business requirements. /p pThe role requires strong expertise in chemical regulatory frameworks, substance management, product composition tracking, and data-driven compliance systems. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 h3Regulatory Compliance Product Stewardship /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with global chemical and product regulations, including (but not limited to): REACH, RoHS, TSCA, SVHC, SCIP, POPs, PFAS restrictions, EU Waste Framework Directive, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and other applicable chemical control legislation. /li liManage substance compliance data, including hazardous substance tracking, material declarations, and regulatory reporting using compliance databases and digital tools. /li liRespond to internal and external product composition and substance information requests from customers, regulators, and authorities. /li liSupport procurement, RD, and technical teams in identifying and managing restricted substances and enabling safer chemical alternatives. /li /ul h3Technical Product Stewardship Expertise /h3 ul liAct as subject matter expert in product stewardship and chemical compliance across the organization. /li liInterpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable product composition and compliance requirements.



/li liSupport evaluation of material and formulation changes from a regulatory compliance perspective. /li liProvide guidance on chemical hazard classification, restricted substances, and safe product use requirements. /li /ul h3Systems Data Compliance /h3 ul liSupport implementation and maintenance of product compliance databases and digital substance tracking systems across global sites. /li liEnsure accurate, consistent, and complete product composition data across systems. /li liCollaborate with IT and technical teams to improve data quality, traceability, and regulatory reporting capability. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liWork closely with RD, procurement, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance is embedded in product design and sourcing decisions. /li liPartner with global regulatory and stewardship teams to harmonize compliance approaches across regions and business units. /li liEngage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners, as needed. /li /ul h3Reporting Communication /h3 ul liPrepare compliance reports, dashboards, and documentation related to product stewardship obligations. /li liCommunicate regulatory risks, obligations, and changes to relevant stakeholders. /li liSupport audit readiness and regulatory inspections with accurate documentation and data.



/li /ul h3Networking / Key Relationships /h3 ul liRegulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship teams /li liRD and formulation teams /li liProcurement and Supply Chain /li liManufacturing and Operations /li liIT / Digital compliance systems teams /li liExternal regulators and industry bodies (as required) /li /ul h3Minimum Knowledge Experience Required /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or related discipline. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in chemical product stewardship, regulatory compliance, or substance management in a chemical, materials, specialty chemicals, or industrial manufacturing environment. /li liStrong knowledge of global chemical regulatory frameworks (REACH, TSCA, RoHS, SCIP, etc.). /li liExperience with product compliance databases, substance tracking systems, or material declaration tools. /li liHigh level of business English required. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liCertification in chemical safety, regulatory affairs, or environmental compliance. /li liExperience in digital product compliance systems or substance data platforms. /li liFamiliarity with lifecycle chemical risk management and restricted substances programs. /li liUnderstanding of ESG frameworks is a plus but not central to the role. /li /ul h3Skills Capabilities /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of chemical regulatory frameworks and substance compliance principles. /li liAnalytical skills for interpreting complex regulatory requirements and material data. /li liExperience managing compliance data systems and ensuring data integrity. /li liStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. /li liAbility to work across technical and non-technical functions. /li liStructured, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
