ph3Position Summary /h3 pThe EMEA Shared Services Associate is a critical member of the Financial Shared Services team. This role provides support for process-level transactions in Accounts Payable. The adecuado candidate should exhibit exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude and a strong attention for detail. The Shared Service Associate will interface on a regular basis with other departments including but not limited to Operations and Purchasing. Additionally, the successful candidate is also a service-oriented person who enjoys high volume transactional responsibilities and takes pride in the accuracy and thoroughness of their work. The Associate will also be expected to interact professionally, both internally and externally throughout the business, with customers and vendors of Plug Power. /p pStatus: Exempt (salaried)br/Department: Finance /p h3Core Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the Accounts Payable mail, communicating with vendors and internal management as necessary /li liProcess received invoices in AP software, coding invoices, and routing for approval within the pre-established guidelines and policies /li liMatch received invoices against purchase orders and receiving transactions where needed. Work with the operations team to resolve 3-way match discrepancies /li liPull supporting documents required for weekly payments,



entering payments into banking software accurately /li liWork with suppliers to reconcile statements of account ensuring payments and credit are accurately applied /li liMaintain a strong internal control environment compliant with SOX /li liBuild and maintain effective cross-functional relationships within the organization; engage with cross-functional partners proactively in completion of job responsibilities /li liSupport ongoing process improvement projects /li liRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner and in all interactions /li liPerform all other duties as assigned /li /ul h3Education And Experience /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in business, accounting, or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience /li liAt least one (1) years of experience in an accounting or customer service or detail-oriented role required /li liExperience with a large international firm highly preferred /li liAbility to approach all work activities with a customer service focus /li liAbility to work across geographies /li liComputer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. /li liFluent written and spoken English /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills /li liUncompromising dedication to quality /li liDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail /liliAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively /li liFluent English, other European languages are a plus /li liMust be driven and self-motivated /li /ul pPlug Power is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
