Job Description: Responsible for delivering on tactical level lean projects aligned with the Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement activities to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Objectives using lean tools, techniques, and methods. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliDrive continuously improving results by leveraging Lean principles, practices and tools, consulting skills, and changing management processes. /liliUtilizes strong analytical and process mapping skillsets to gather data, analyze processes, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. /liliActively participate in the Lean Leader integral community to benchmark and incorporate best practices. /liliImprove Lean body of knowledge, training and facilitation skills by pursuing continual Lean learning. /liliPromote and facilitate associate development in various Lean tools, lean operations, and kaizen leadership. /liliThis role will generate a significant multiple of invested cost in terms of value creation (ROI = 3x investment) /liliFacilitates Kaizen and continuous improvement events in which we effectively build and lead focused and empowered teams to address systemic problems. /liliDirectly provide formal and informal Lean training and capability building /liliAssist ALC / Operations leaderships in the development of a Lean transformation with planned resource allocations. /liliImplement operational balanced scorecard (safety, quality, delivery and productivity) metrics for the designated operations scope. /liliPromote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow bottlenecks and other waste throughout the operation, and provide subject matter expertise on appropriate tools to eliminate them /liliOversee and monitor all operational suppliers as part of the continuous improvement scope, identifying opportunities to improve pricing, service quality, SLAs, response times, and overall supplier performance.
/liliAttend and represent the operation in all Global Engineering-led meetings related to new programs, ideas, processes, tools, or initiatives, ensuring local operational requirements, impacts, and improvement opportunities are properly assessed and followed up. /liliSupport the Logistics Director in preparing and maintaining reports requested by EMEA, including financial control reports, operational control reports, performance analysis, and other management information required to monitor the business. /li /ulh3Competencies: /h3ulliSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize and thrive in fast paced environment. /liliKey IM Competencies - Change Agent, Collaboration, and Influence, Results Oriented Proven analytical, influence, and negotiation skills. /liliKey traits - Managerial courage, bias to action, drives to results, builds fellowship. /liliStrong leadership skills and driven to delivery results against challenging performance indicators. /liliAbility to adapt to new systems and platforms. /liliVerbal communication: Ability to effectively articulate information and respond to questions from leaders and hourly associates. /liliListens and solicits clarification; responds well to questions. /liliWritten communication: Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written communication. /liliComputer skills: Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and use of analytical techniques; knowledge of WMS preferred. /liliAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously. /liliGood knowledge of English,
with the ability to communicate effectively in an international business environment. /liliProactive mindset with the ability to anticipate situations, identify potential risks or opportunities in advance, and take timely action. /li /ulh3Education and Experience: /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering or related discipline - or - equivalent work experience in warehouse / distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment /liliThree or more years in fast paced, high volume distribution environment working in quality, statistics, continuous improvement / Lean strongly preferred. /liliHigh system and transactional knowledge of total ALC, required. /liliExperience leading visual daily management, Gemba, preferred. /liliExperience in consultative approach, problem solving, training, facilitation, change management, required. /liliModerate Kaizen facilitation experience, preferred. /liliValue-stream mapping experience, preferred. /liliComputer skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of WMS (IMFirst) preferred. /li /ulpThis is not a complete listing of the job duties.
