ph3Job Description /h3 pAfter an introduction period assisting a Senior Vendor Manager, your tasks as a Junior Analyst – Vendor Management will include: /p ul liSupporting the Vendor Managers by developing reports and analysis to sustain informed and strategic decisions for Account Management. /li liDeveloping sales and purchasing volume forecasts on the account level and establishing a follow‑up process. /li liConducting analysis of supplier and category performance. /li liConducting market and competition analyses as well as price comparisons. /li liSupporting product range planning by conducting assortment performance reviews. /li liSupporting the Vendor Management Team in supplier‑related projects and cross‑functional initiatives. /li liEngaging with internal intelligence departments (BI, Analytics, Digital Insights, Strategic Assortment) to improve and develop data and intelligence that support Vendor Management functions, and participating in data and research projects. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liGraduate degree in a business‑related field of study. /li li2–3 years of work experience as a Category Manager or Marketing Analyst in off‑ or on‑line retail companies, FMCG manufacturers, or market research companies (e.g., Nielsen, GFK, Kantar). /li liNegotiation experience or supplier management skills is a plus. /li liInternational experience, ideally through internships or semester abroad. /li liExperience in project‑based work, analytical and strategic thinking, and the ability to structure complex facts.
/li liUnderstanding of customer needs and market requirements with an intuitive sense for brands and trends. /li liPassion for teamwork and guidance of business partners. /li liStrong communication skills, both verbal and written. /li liAbility to deliver and implement quickly, open to iterative learning. /li liIntercultural competence. /li liProficient MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau or SQL knowledge is a plus. /li liProficiency in English.
