You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the Hivebrite platform through thorough manual testing, clear documentation, and close collaboration with developers and product managers. /ppThis role goes beyond test execution. You'll take ownership of quality within your squad's functional scope, contribute to test planning, drive bug resolution, and actively look for ways to improve how we test — including leveraging AI tools.



You'll be a key partner in shipping features that our customers can rely on. /ppbTesting Quality Assurance /b /ppDesign and execute detailed manual test cases covering functional, usability, and edge-case scenarios for your squad's features. /ppPerform regression testing to ensure new changes don't break existing functionality. /ppContribute to test planning by defining test objectives, scope, and strategy alongside developers and product managers. /ppConduct exploratory testing to uncover issues that scripted tests might miss. /ppBegin contributing to non-functional testing areas such as performance and accessibility, with guidance from senior team members. /ppbBug Management Problem Solving /b /ppOwn the full bug lifecycle within your functional scope — from identification and clear documentation in Jira, through triage, to resolution tracking. /ppCollaborate with developers on root cause analysis and validate fixes thoroughly. /ppUse insights from production bugs to review and strengthen existing test cases, closing coverage gaps. /ppPrioritize testing efforts based on risk, production usage patterns, and feature criticality. /ppParticipate in refinements and "3 amigos" sessions during the design phase, bringing a QA perspective to spot risks early. /ppbDelivery Efficiency /b /ppPlan and execute QA activities within sprint timelines, ensuring quality without becoming a bottleneck. /ppAdapt to shifting priorities during sprints and releases while maintaining test coverage. /ppProactively identify ways to improve your own efficiency — whether through better tooling, workflow adjustments, or AI-assisted approaches. /ppCollaborate with automation engineers to ensure automated tests correctly cover the functional scope under test, and flag areas that need improvement. /ppbCommunication Documentation /b /ppMaintain clear, well-structured test documentation in Qase — including test plans, cases, and execution reports. /ppProvide concise updates on test progress, risks, and blockers through Slack, Jira, and Confluence. /ppContribute to team meetings, stand-ups, and QA workshops with actionable insights. /ppDeliver live demos to present test plans, coverage, or key findings to stakeholders. /ppUse AI assistants (Claude, Dust) and Omni to accelerate test documentation, support bug analysis, and explore quality metrics.
