At Santander CIB, you will be part of a leading global investment banking platform advising sophisticated corporate and institutional clients on some of the most relevant transactions in the market. You will gain meaningful exposure to live deals, work closely with senior bankers, and build your career in one of the most dynamic sectors in EMEA. You can expect: /p ul liMeaningful deal exposure: Work on live, complex transactions from day one, with real responsibility on core analytical and execution workstreams /li liSenior access and mentorship: Work closely with senior bankers and experienced deal teams /li liCross‑border perspective: Collaborate with colleagues across EMEA and product partners to deliver integrated advice to corporates and financial sponsors /li /ul pAs an Analyst, you will support both origination and live execution across a wide range of transactions, with increasing ownership of core analytical and execution workstreams. /p pbYour responsibilities will include: /b /p ul liBuilding and reviewing detailed financial models, including operating models, DCFs, merger and accretion / dilution analyses, valuation frameworks, and sensitivities /li liPerforming valuation work using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and other relevant sector‑specific approaches /li liPreparing high‑quality client materials, including pitch books, strategic reviews, management presentations, information memoranda,
board materials and internal approval documents /li liSupporting live transaction execution across MA and IPO processes, including due diligence coordination, workstream management and interaction with internal and external stakeholders /li liConducting detailed sector, company, investor and transaction analysis across EMEA /li liMonitoring market developments, valuation trends, regulatory themes and investor activity across key sub‑sectors /li liSupporting senior bankers on client dialogue, strategic analysis and origination ideas /li /ul pbWhat You’ll Bring /b /p pThe following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. /p h3Professional Experience /h3 ul li2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, MA, ECM / IPO advisory or a similar transaction environment /li liStrong execution experience on live transactions and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liUndergraduate degree from a top‑tier university with a strong academic track record /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFluency in English and Spanish (Required) /li liAdditional European languages (Preferred) /li /ul h3Hard Skills /h3 ul liAdvanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with a strong grasp of accounting and corporate finance fundamentals /li liProven ability to produce high‑quality client‑facing materials, with excellent attention to detail and quality control /li liFamiliarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Refinitiv, Mergermarket, Infralogic or similar tools (Preferred)
