ppLocation: Hybrid / Madrid (office) /p h3Position Summary /h3 pWe are thrilled to announce an exciting opening for an HR Manager Iberia to join our team in the EMEA region. /p pThe HR Manager is responsible for leading all matters related to Human Resources in Spain and Portugal (approximately 60 employees). /p pThis is a combined role of a true all-round HR Generalist Business Partner that includes: organizational design and effectiveness, talent selection, coaching and development of the leadership team and employees, employee relations, and executing programs that include performance management, compensation planning, benefits payroll administration, new hire orientation/onboarding, compliance, policy development, and internal and external reporting for this location. /p pThe HR Manager is a member of the country leadership team + HR EMEA team and is viewed as a strategic business partner capable of developing and executing programs as a change agent. /p pIn addition to the above, the incumbent will perform duties to ensure the day-to-day functioning of the HR department are done in a manner to ensure all government regulations and corporate policies, procedures, and practices are followed in the most effective manner possible. /p pThe HR Manager will have responsibilities across many disciplines in HR and will work on multiple projects that vary in scale and complexity. As such, this position will require an individual who is willing to work on a range of activities from transactional and tactical, to strategic in nature, a working leader. /p ul liLead/facilitate employee development activities and drive a culture of development. Coach and mentor leaders on talent development tools and counsel on available programs. Develop succession plans and hold leaders accountable for implementing plans. Provide consultation,



resources and training assistance to leaders to assess and address ongoing training and development needs. /li liCounsel employees and leaders to resolve issues such as policy and procedure interpretation, performance expectations, absenteeism, discipline and workplace harassment. Ensure investigations are conducted when needed and recommend corrective actions. Remain current on employment and other laws related to HR. /li liImplement maintain corporate local policies and act as a change champion. /li liExecute and drive company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g. salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change). /li liFocus on strategic partnership and consultative skills with leaders. /li liAct as first line support for employee questions regarding policies, benefits and employment matters for the Iberia workforce. Escalate inquiries as appropriate to subject matter experts. /li liManage all key administrative tasks such as payroll, onboarding/offboarding etc. /li liWork on special assignments as they arise /li /ul pThe HR Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining an effective and constructive relationship with the Works Council (WC). This includes ensuring full compliance with applicable labor laws and co-determination requirements, as well as fostering transparent and collaborative dialogue between management and employee representatives. /p pKey responsibilities include: /p ul liActing as the primary point of contact for the Works Council on all HR-related matters /li liPreparing, coordinating, and presenting proposals, policies,



and organizational changes requiring Works Council consultation or approval /li liEnsuring timely information sharing and consultation in line with legal and regulatory obligations /li liAdvise senior management on Works Council rights, risks, and engagement strategies /li liSupport negotiations and facilitate agreements on topics such as restructuring, compensation, working conditions, and employee policies /li liMaintain accurate documentation of discussions, decisions, and formal agreements /li liPromote a culture of trust, transparency, and constructive social dialogue /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements/Knowledge Skills /h3 ul liAnalytical approach to projects and problem solving; strong project management skills /li liApproachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities, complete deadlines in a fast-paced environment /li liUtilize ICU Medical business acumen to understand where HR solutions are needed and their impact across the organization /li liComfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple and/or competing priorities /li liStrong internal and external customer service focus with a genuine desire to assist others /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills /li liStrong presentation skills and facilitation experience to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related training programs to managers/colleagues /li liKnowledge of company policies and procedures /li liBachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and minimum 5 years’ experience as an HR Manager. /li liLanguage skills: native in Spanish + fluent in English /li liProfessional understanding of payroll process management. /li /ul h3Travel Requirements /h3 pTypically requires travel less than 5% of the time /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
