Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions. /p h3Job Purpose /h3 pThe Lead Pipeline Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all pipeline engineering activities for ADNOC Offshore projects executed under the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model. The role ensures that offshore and subsea pipeline systems are designed, reviewed, and executed in accordance with ADNOC requirements, international engineering standards, project specifications, HSE requirements, and schedule commitments throughout Concept, FEED, EPC, construction, installation, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up phases. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Engineering Leadership /h3 ul liLead and coordinate pipeline engineering activities for offshore oil gas developments. /li liManage a team of Pipeline Engineers, Senior Engineers, Specialists, and Designers. /li liEnsure engineering deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project quality requirements. /li liProvide technical leadership and engineering solutions for complex offshore pipeline systems. /li /ul h3Engineering Design Review /h3 ul liReview and approve: ul liPipeline Design Basis /li liPipeline Routing Studies /li liHydraulic Analysis /li liWall Thickness Calculations /li liPipeline Stability Analysis /li liExpansion and Flexibility Analysis /li liOn‑bottom Stability /li liFree Span Analysis /li liBuckling Assessment /li liCrossing Studies /li liPipeline Mechanical Design /li liMaterial Selection Reports /li liStress Analysis /li liPipeline Alignment Sheets /li liPig Launcher Receiver Design /li liPipeline Datasheets /li /ul /li liReview subsea flowlines, risers, shore approaches, tie‑ins, and subsea structures.



/li liEnsure compliance with ADNOC standards and applicable international codes including DNV, API, ISO and ASME. /li /ul h3PMC Engineering Management /h3 ul liReview EPC Contractor engineering deliverables and provide timely comments. /li liMonitor engineering progress against project schedule. /li liCoordinate multidisciplinary interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Instrumentation, Electrical, Marine, Subsea, and HSE disciplines. /li liParticipate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Constructability, Value Engineering and Risk Assessment workshops. /li liSupport engineering change management and Management of Change (MOC) activities. /li /ul h3Construction Installation Support /h3 ul liProvide technical support during procurement, fabrication, offshore installation and hook‑up activities. /li liReview installation procedures including: ul liS‑Lay /li liJ‑Lay /li liReel‑Lay /li liShore Pull /li liPipeline Pull‑In /li liTie‑In /li liHydrotesting /li liDewatering /li liDrying /li liGauging /li liIntelligent Pigging /li liPre‑commissioning and Commissioning procedures /li /ul /li liSupport offshore construction and resolve technical queries. /li /ul h3Procurement Support /h3 ul liReview technical specifications. /li liPrepare and review Material Requisitions. /li liEvaluate Technical Bid Evaluations. /li liParticipate in vendor document reviews. /li liSupport procurement of line pipes, valves, fittings, coatings, insulation, and subsea equipment. /li /ul h3HSE Quality /h3 ul liPromote ADNOC's HSE culture and ensure engineering activities comply with project HSE requirements. /li liEnsure design complies with safety, operability, maintainability, and integrity requirements. /li liParticipate in engineering audits, safety reviews, and lessons learned workshops. /li /ul h3Project Coordination /h3 ul liCoordinate with Client, EPC Contractors, Vendors, Classification Authorities, and third‑party consultants. /li liMonitor project risks and recommend mitigation measures. /li liSupport project reporting and management reviews. /li liMentor junior engineers and develop technical capability within the engineering team. /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liA bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region. /li liMust have at least five (5)
