ph3Systems Development Manager, ESC Managed Operations /h3 pAWS is introducing the inaugural European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). We search for experienced development engineering leaders to head operations and development teams that deliver high‑availability AWS services (EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock) exclusively for EU customers. Your role will drive the 2025 launch of ESC, working closely with integral teams and shaping AWS services and technology. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOversee the launch of ESC in 2025 and collaborate with AWS global teams. /li liLead systems operations and development teams, emphasizing automation and engineering efficiency. /li liAnalyze system and software performance to identify improvement areas across availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency. /li liFoster cross‑department collaboration, strengthening relationships and streamlining processes. /li liCoach and mentor teams, ensuring a skilled, invested workforce. /li liReview key performance metrics to align efforts with business objectives. /li liDrive escalation calls and manage on‑call responsibilities. /li /ul h3Eligibility Required Experience /h3 ul liFluency in written and spoken English. /li liNational of an EU member state and residing in the EU. /li liExperience in development management and operations for large‑scale distributed systems. /li liProven hiring and talent management across multiple disciplines.
