ph3Role Description /h3 pEnergiot is looking for an Electronic Engineer to join the Product and RD team in Barcelona. /p pThe person will contribute to the design, development, testing, and improvement of Energiot’s self‑powered IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring. This role involves working closely with hardware, firmware, mechanical, product, and operations teams to develop reliable electronic solutions for devices deployed in demanding field environments. /p pThis is an adecuado position for someone with a strong background in electronics, preferably with a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field, who wants to work on real‑world IoT products for the energy sector and contribute to the development of innovative technologies for electrical networks. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liParticipate in the electronic design and development of IoT devices for electrical grid monitoring. /li liWork on PCB design, circuit development, component selection, and hardware validation. /li liSupport the development, testing, and debugging of electronic prototypes and production‑ready devices. /li liProgram and test microcontrollers, with a focus on embedded systems and low‑power devices. /li liCollaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure integration between hardware, software, and mechanical design. /li liContribute to the improvement of device reliability, manufacturability, and field performance. /li liSupport RD projects in collaboration with electrical utilities and industrial partners. /li liPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and design revisions. /li liWork with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support prototyping, production, and quality improvements. /li liContribute to product certification processes and compliance‑related activities when required.
/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Essential /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. /li liIdeally, Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar. /li liDemonstrable experience in electronic product development. /li liStrong knowledge of PCB design tools and electronic circuit design. /li liExperience with microcontroller programming and embedded systems. /li liAbility to read, create, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures. /li liHands‑on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies. /li liFluent in Spanish and English. /li liAbility to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liKnowledge of low‑power electronics and hardware optimization. /li liExperience with Texas Instruments SoC or similar microcontroller platforms. /li liExperience with IoT devices, wireless sensors, or connected hardware products. /li liFamiliarity with wireless communication protocols such as LoRa, SigFox, I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, or similar. /li liExperience with product certification, reliability testing, or compliance processes. /li liBasic understanding of mechanical design constraints and product integration. /li liFamiliarity with simulation tools such as COMSOL or similar. /li liStrong problem‑solving skills. /li liAutonomy, organization, and attention to detail. /li liProactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of technical tasks. /li liGood communication skills with technical and non‑technical teams. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liFull‑time, permanent contract /li liEntrepreneurial startup culture with a high level of ownership /li liPrivate medical insurance coverage (Adeslas PYME total) /li liOffice located in Barcelona, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
