Our IT environment underpins everything we do, from office based collaboration to operational support at customer power plants across the region. /p pWe are now looking to appoint an IT Support Specialist to strengthen our European IT capability, based in our Madrid office. This is a hands on, technically varied role, adecuado for someone who enjoys working across servers, networks, user support, and vendor management in a complex international environment. /p pYou will work closely with the IT Manager, regional operational teams, external vendors, and our Head Office IT colleagues in Japan. The role offers exposure to enterprise infrastructure, international stakeholders, and real responsibility from day one. /p h3Role Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide IT infrastructure and user support for the Madrid office and other Mitsubishi Power EMEA Group locations. /li liSupport Mitsubishi Power EMEA users operating within customer power plant environments. /li liMaintain, monitor, and troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure, including servers and networking. /li liAct as second line support for the Operations Team, stepping into first line support where resourcing requires. /li liDiagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, servers, and networks. /li liManage backups, patching, system updates, and infrastructure security controls. /li liEnsure systems remain compliant with corporate IT and security standards. /li liDocument system configurations, maintenance procedures, and technical reports. /li liLiaise with external IT vendors to resolve technical issues and support procurement activities. /li liSupport the IT Manager with the implementation of new IT processes, procedures, and improvements.



/li liWork collaboratively with Head Office IT teams in Japan to align infrastructure and support activities. /li liThis role combines structured operational responsibility with the opportunity to continuously improve how IT services are delivered across a geographically diverse organisation. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pWe are seeking someone with a strong technical foundation and a pragmatic, service oriented mindset. You will ideally bring: /p ul liGraduate level education or equivalent proven experience in an IT related discipline. /li liDemonstrable experience in networking and server troubleshooting within a professional environment. /li liStrong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and business software applications. /li liA solid understanding of IT security, hardware safety, and data protection protocols. /li liConfidence working in a multi stakeholder, international business environment. /li liFluency in business level bEnglish /b and ideally bSpanish /b, both written and spoken. /li liWillingness to travel across EMEA as required by the business. /li /ul pThe following would be advantageous but not essential: /p ul liITIL Foundation certification. /li liExperience working within engineering, industrial, or operational environments. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pAt Mitsubishi Power, diversity, equity and inclusion are central to our values.
