In this role you will lead geotechnical design and review for land development projects, collaborating across functions to deliver safe, compliant foundations and earthworks. You’ll manage site investigations, design feasibility, and detailed designs while ensuring alignment with Eurocodes and standards. Your work directly supports Ramboll’s mission of sustainable change through technically robust, practical solutions. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Prepare and check engineering designs, documents, and calculations; supervise production of design docs for client issue
• Coordinate projects from site investigation to detailed design, including ground investigation site supervision
• Ensure designs comply with current standards, codes, and best practices
• Process geotechnical data for interpretation, assessment and report prep
• Perform geotechnical design tasks (excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, foundations, stability/settlement analysis) in line with Eurocodes
• Develop project controls and monitor progress vs programmes




• Coordinate external subcontractors and design checkers as needed
• Develop design and provide client-facing presentations and reports
• Assist in expressions of interest, proposals, tenders, including cost estimates
• Maximise business development opportunities and work with other geographies

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology; 5+ years’ geotechnical experience in investigations, reporting, design and construction inspections
• Experience in a design environment; some site experience preferred
• Advanced numerical modelling using 2D Plaxis or similar
• Working knowledge of geotechnical software including Geo xqbhyrx Studio (Slope/W, Seep/W) or similar
• Good knowledge of Eurocodes and statutory processes/standards
• Significant experience in civil engineering; international experience valued
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team; proactive and able to coach others
• Valid driver’s license for client meetings/site visits
