You will take part in a transformational effort to modernize our real-time news systems and other content systems that feed and enrich our many products including Newswires, Factiva and the Wall Street Journal. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible to adapt to a changing environment, eager to learn new skills and adept at critical thinking. This position reports to: Senior Manager, Engineering. /p h3You Will: /h3 ul liEngage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle to design, develop, test and deploy high quality solutions using the Agile/Scrum methodology and working with technologies including: AWS Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Istio, Envoy, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, GenAI, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, JSON, XML, MySQL or other Relational Database /li liPerform investigation, analysis, evaluation and prototyping to determine project feasibility /li liPartner collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders to manage scope, milestones, deliverables and timelines on technical projects /li liProvide feedback, guidance, recommendations and training to management and other stakeholders.
