/p pFor applicants holding degrees in other Natural Sciences or Engineering disciplines, a weighting factor of 70% of the average transcript grade will be applied. /p pFor applicants holding degrees in fields other than those mentioned above, a weighting factor of 10% will be applied. /p ul li2. /li /ul pUp to 10 points will be awarded based on the weighted average grades obtained by the applicant in Bachelor's and Master's courses related to the project tasks as follows: up to 1 point for each 1 ECTS credit in courses related to Calculus and Linear Algebra; up to 2 points for each 1 ECTS credit in courses related to Statistics, Probability, Numerical Methods, Scientific Programming, Computational Mechanics, and Differential Equations; and up to 3 points for each 1 ECTS credit in courses related to applications of Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering in Biology and Medicine. /p pFor these courses, the same weighting applied to the overall academic transcript according to the degree obtained will also be applied. /p ul li3. /li /ul pUp to 6 points will be awarded for complementary training courses related to the research project tasks, at a rate of up to 1.5 points for each completed course. /p ul li4. /li /ul pUp to 4 points will be awarded for academic awards and scholarships obtained through competitive calls, with a maximum of 1 point per achievement. /p ul liExperience related to the activities to be carried out (maximum 40 points). /li li1. /li /ul pExperience in the use of differential equation models of cancer growth and treatment response to obtain personalized tumor predictions through simulation (maximum 10 points). /p pUp to 0.5 points will be awarded for each month of experience. /p ul li2. /li /ul pExperience in the parameterization of differential equation models using least-squares techniques and Bayesian calibration (maximum 10 points). /p pUp to 0.5 points will be awarded for each month of experience. /p ul li3. /li /ul pExperience in the identification of mechanistic biomarkers and in the statistical analysis of calibration and prediction results from cancer models (maximum 10 points). /p pUp to 0.5 points will be awarded for each month of experience. /p ul li4.
