Senior Scientific Writer – Barcelona, Spain
Responsibilities
Create complex and specialized content independently
Manage end-to-end publication/medical education content development, including documentation and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision
Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise
Coach and review content created by junior scientific writers
Collaborate closely with peers and teams to develop best practices and improve delivery
Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders (medical scientific community) and health‑care professionals
Provide publication and medical education material (slide deck, abstract, poster, manuscript, etc.) within agreed timelines and quality standards
Conduct comprehensive publication-need analysis and implement the publication plan for the region
Work with regional vendors to deliver required deliverables per defined processes
Qualities & Qualifications




4+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia
Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, similar discipline, or medical degree
Excellent spoken and written English language skills

Stakeholder management
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Therapeutic area/domain knowledge, publication submission experience, and/or project management (as applicable)
Benefits
Salary range: €48,000 – €64,000 per year (final compensation based on experience, skills, location, and other factors)
