In this role, you will lead system-level technical studies for future and derivative projects within Airbus Defence and Space Getafe. You will collaborate with engineering, strategy, marketing, customers and suppliers to shape top-level objectives and robust architectures for new programmes. You will perform trade-offs, explore innovative configurations, and guide environmental and value-focused design directions in a multi-program environment.

• Ensure interface and integration of engineering activities to support Airbus product policy
• Lead or support analysis of competitors’ products at aircraft/vehicle and component levels for strategy, marketing, sales and technology
• Lead or support intelligence activities within Engineering
• Define top-level technical objectives and requirements up to MG3 for new or incremental programmes
• Manage and lead activities to meet vehicle design and major constituents’ integration needs up to MG2 for new programmes




• Perform trade-off analyses to select optimal overall vehicle and system architecture
• Explore technical, manufacturing and operational aspects of innovative configurations with value/cost-benefit assessments
• Define component design targets for overall vehicle value and monitor achievement with CoCs
• Define, prioritize and conduct research projects to advance technologies and competencies for enhanced vehicle design and integrated constituents
• Develop knowledge and propose directions on environmental aspects

Responsabilidades xqbhyrx
• 5-10 years of experience in Engineering, preferably Systems Engineering
• Aeronautical Engineering degree (preferable)
• Good knowledge of Platform Systems
• Good level of English
• Ability to work with uncertainty, flexibility and scarce information
• Team working skills and pro-active problem solving
