This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders. You will be at the forefront of driving solutions, enabling digital transformation, and ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives. /p pOthers on the team look up to you for your expert guidance and coaching and you regularly share best practices and tips to help others grow and develop. /p h3Major Responsibilities /h3 ul liBecome a hands‑on expert in the Brightspace platform. You won’t just need theoretical knowledge of how things work, but you will be expected to try things out and make sure they work in practice. You will need to get creative and sometimes approach and re‑approach a solution until you find the right fit. /li liSupport the sales process by becoming an expert in D2L products and services, including functionality, usage, architecture,



and deployment. /li liPrepare and present persuasive and expertly tailored product demonstrations before a wide variety of audiences and under challenging circumstances. Audiences could be new or seasoned users, executives at a conference table, university faculty in a lecture theatre or HR and LD professionals piled into stadium seating. Needs could be vague or extremely unique, and timelines to prepare can vary. /li liBuild compelling, value‑oriented presentations while partnering with your sales team to prep for such presentations. /li liConduct needs analysis sessions with prospects to understand their infrastructure, needs and potential customisations they may require. /li liProvide feedback to product management teams regarding use cases and trends in the field. /li liCreate technical documentation and materials as required for your prospects. /li liBe the conduit through which internal SMEs are contacted and engaged in sales opportunities. /li liAttend sales presentations, meetings, and conferences as required (travel 25-50%), and be willing to work various hours across North America from PST to EST. /li liEngaging in proposal writing - review requirements, identify optimal product mix, address gaps and assessing competitive alignment, and culminating in the creation of clear, concise responses. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liStrong drive to achieve results. /li liStrong personal leadership skills with passion to coach and mentor others. /li liOrganized and analytical, with excellent communication and presentation skills. /li liDemonstrated ability to understand complex business challenges and apply creativity and problem‑solving to meet client needs. /li liExcellent presentation skills with the ability to speak with confidence to a variety of audiences, effectively articulating technical concepts in a meaningful way.
