Ready to be part of a dynamic team that's revolutionizing the 3 D printing industry? Imagine a work environment where your every contribution creates a ripple effect of innovation. If you're drawn to challenges, seek out the thrill of cutting‑edge projects, and thrive in a culture of autonomy, trust, and ownership, then this is more than just a job – it’s a passion‑fuelled journey. Join us in shaping the future of 3 D printing, where your skills will be the driving force behind our success. At Supernova, we’re not just innovators;
we’re game‑changers. Weaim to produce end‑use parts at scale and cost by developing a complete industrial solution to unlock the power and benefits of Additive Manufacturing. We are 100% customer‑centered and aware that the value we are bringing is the ability to produce fully functional parts. We work with the conviction that excellence in science and engineering is the cornerstone of transformative change. In our relentless pursuit of excellence, we adopt a champion’s mindset, we take controlled risks, and we are constantly on the offense to get things done. As a Senior Materials Scientist at Supernova, you will lead the formulation of high‑viscosity UV‑curable materials, vital for our Viscous Lithographic Manufacturing (VLM) technology. You’ll spearhead the development of new resins, applying your extensive knowledge in chemistry to create innovative solutions. Your role involves conducting detailed characterization studies to understand and improve material properties like strength, flexibility, and curing speed. You will be the driving force behind material advancements,
ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. A significant part of your role will be to collaborate closely with engineering colleagues. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with the rest of the Material team, as well as with Mechanical and Process peers from the Engineering and Printing team, ensuring that the materials you develop are seamlessly integrated into our printing systems. Your expertise will guide all the technical teams in optimizing printer performance and achieving the best possible results with the materials you develop. Key Responsibilities es: Formulate, develop, and optimize industrial‑grade UV‑curable materials for 3 D printing applicatio ns. Bring your formulation expertise to perform state‑of‑the‑art research on the field of UV‑curable materia ls. Conduct rigorous laboratory experiments to evaluate new resin formulatio ns. Analyse and characterize material properties to ensure optimal performance and quali ty. Collaborate with the definition and implementation of laboratory best‑practices and H&S; protoco ls. Collaborate with R&D; teams to integrate new materials with printing syste ms. Lead initiatives to improve material properties, such as durability, flexibility, and curing spe ed. Guide and mentor lab technicians and interns,
