Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones, EC partners with regional and Integral Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry. /p pWith a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors, EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality, specialist services that help to fill capability gaps, resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and sizes. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Role Overview /h3 pThe Data Center Program Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving the integrated program plan for a portfolio of Data Center projects. Operating at a senior level, this role requires strong scheduling expertise, the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders, and the maturity to coordinate multiple complex projects with limited oversight. /p pThe Program Planner ensures that resources, schedules, risks, and dependencies are aligned across the program, enabling predictable, coordinated delivery. This role is central to the operational success of the Data Center portfolio and requires a blend of technical planning capability, leadership presence, and program‑level thinking. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Program Planning Technical Excellence /h3 ul liDevelop, maintain, and continuously refine the integrated program plan covering all Data Center projects. /li liEstablish planning standards, sequencing logic, and schedule governance aligned with AECOM’s PDS and PMO frameworks. /li liApply advanced scheduling techniques (critical path, float analysis, EVM) to assess progress and forecast outcomes. /li liIdentify risks, constraints, and interdependencies across multiple projects; propose mitigation strategies.



/li liEnsure all program planning deliverables meet QA requirements and support APIC‑aligned project management. /li liProvide planning inputs for proposals, bids, and client presentations. /li /ul h3Resource Portfolio Coordination /h3 ul liSelect and coordinate resources for each project in collaboration with PMs, DMs, and discipline leads. /li liManage resource loading and forecasting across the program to ensure capacity aligns with demand. /li liSupport the Program Director in balancing priorities, sequencing work, and resolving resource conflicts. /li liEnsure interdisciplinary coordination across engineering, design, procurement, and construction teams. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Influence Leadership /h3 ul liOperate with senior‑level confidence: speak up, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability. /li liInfluence PMs, DMs, technical leads, and external partners to maintain schedule discipline. /li liLead planning meetings, progress reviews, and coordination sessions across multiple regions. /li liCommunicate schedule status, risks, and impacts clearly to senior leadership and client stakeholders. /li liSupport business change initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes. /li /ul h3Project Program Delivery /h3 ul liSupport the Program Director in managing the lifecycle of multiple large, complex Data Center projects. /li liEnsure alignment between project‑level schedules and the overall program roadmap. /liliDrive a culture of financial responsibility by ensuring schedule accuracy supports cost and cashflow forecasting. /li liEnsure scope changes are captured, assessed, and incorporated into the program plan.



/li /ul h3Client Internal Relationship Management /h3 ul liMaintain regular communication with client representatives to validate planning assumptions and sequencing. /li liSupport major bids and proposals with planning strategies, schedule narratives, and delivery logic. /li liIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities within the Data Center program and advise leadership accordingly. /li liRepresent the planning function in client meetings, leadership reviews, and program governance forums. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 pElectrical or Mechanical engineering degree with at least 15 year's experience. /p h3Preferred Profile /h3 ul liStrong background in project planning, scheduling, or PMO roles. /li liExperience in Data Center projects or large, complex technical programs. /li liProficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling tools. /li liStrong influencing skills; able to challenge constructively and drive alignment. /li liExcellent communication skills; fluent in English. /li liAbility to manage multiple teams and stakeholders across regions. /li /ul h3Leadership Competencies /h3 ul liInspires, develops, and motivates others; demonstrates strong coaching capability. /li liCommunicates clearly and openly; fosters transparency and collaboration. /li liChampions integrity, safety, and ethical behaviors. /li liThinks strategically and challenges the status quo. /li liBuilds strong client and internal relationships; supports business development. /li liHolds self and others accountable for performance and delivery. /li liLeads confidently through ambiguity and change. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
