ID: 35024 /h3 pOur client based in Madrid, Spain requires an SAP PP / PP-PI (Production Planning / Process Industries) Consultant to join them, starting towards the end of July / beginning of August 2026 for a 5 month assignment until the end of the year. /p h3Required Skills and Experience: /h3 ul li5+ years of experience delivering SAP PP solutions, SAP configurations and customisation. /li liPreparing SAP PP functional specifications and test cases. /li liStrong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes. /li liProven track record of solution design, implementation, and support in complex and regulated organizational landscapes. /li liUnderstanding of product lifecycle management, value stream principles, and best practices in SAP delivery. /li liAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on maintaining data quality, compliance, and risk mitigation /li liExcellent collaboration and communication skills, working cross-functionally with business, technical teams, and end users. /li liHigh standards of professional ethics, customer orientation, and the ability to thrive in multicultural, geographically dispersed teams. /li liShould ideally have knowledge of using systems like SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Signavio. /li liWillingness to travel on occasion. /li /ul h3Nice To Have But Not Mandatory: /h3 ul liExperience with SAP PP-PI is nice to have /li liExperience in process industry e.g., Forest Products, Mills, Packaging, Mining,



Chemicals is nice to have /li liExperience with S/4HANA is nice to have /li liExperience with MM, QM and LO-VC is nice to have /li /ul h3Main Duties: /h3 ul liAddress and resolve support tasks for their area, including L1.5 to L3 issues (BPIs, changes, bugs, etc.). /li liResearch potential solution improvements and issue corrections, proactively identifying and proposing business process and solution enhancements. /li liGather and prioritize product requirements, working with General Local Key Users to elicit requirements. /li liRefine business requirements, design solutions, perform SAP configuration, specify developments, test, ensuring solution alignment with business requirements. /li liPrepare functional specifications and test cases for any custom development. /li liUnit and integration testing of solutions before releasing them for user acceptance testing. Assist end users during UAT. /li liDocument changes, improvements, and newly implemented business processes, maintaining documentation related to support activities, configurations, and customizations. /li liProvide materials and training to Regional Local Key Users, promoting effective utilization of SAP solutions. /li liPerform cutover and migration tasks, ensuring seamless transition and handover of solutions to the wider team.



/li liEnsure the integrity of core solutions for their area and integration with adjacent areas, taking operational responsibility for the SAP products. /li liEnsure work is delivered and complies with all working procedures, safeguarding the core solution principles. /li /ul h3Stakeholder collaboration /h3 ul liDiscuss solution enhancements with the Product Manager, escalating issues or conflicts with SW core solution principles. /li liCollaborate with Solution Architects to ensure the technical feasibility and integrity of product features. /li liCollaborate with Service Managers to ensure consistent operational practices across products and act as a liaison between business functions and technical teams (Development Factory, Basis, Security Access). /li liCollaborate with Project Managers and other project team members to deliver project work, e.g., estimating WBS elements for delivery, conducting workshop sessions, performing data collection, identifying solution enhancements, delivering the business blueprint, designing solutions, performing configurations, specifying developments, testing, conducting training sessions, performing cutover and migration tasks, etc. /li /ul h3Languages: /h3 ul liMust be fluent in English (Minimum C1 level in reading, writing, speaking) /li /ul h3Work load: /h3 ul liEarliest possible start date: 27th July 2026 /li liLatest possible start date: 10th August 2026 /li li5 Month contract until 31st December 2026 (possibility of further extension) /li /ul h3Remote Work: /h3 ul liThis is a hybrid role and you must be onsite in Madrid 3 days per week. /li liOnly a maximum of 2 days per week of remote work is permitted. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
