Enerpac Tool Group common stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol EPAC. /p h3Summary – Basic Function Of The Role /h3 pWe have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sustaining Engineer to join our Engineering team in Alcobendas, Madrid. This is a hybrid position, working from our Madrid site four days per week with the option to work from home on Fridays. /p pIn this role, you will support the maintenance, improvement and reliability of our existing products. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help ensure our products perform reliably, can be manufactured effectively and are supported by accurate technical documentation. /p pYou will develop your knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic products and product architecture, including assemblies, components and system interactions. You will also build practical troubleshooting skills by working with our Manufacturing, Quality and Test teams to investigate product and production issues. /p pAs your knowledge and confidence grow, you will take on greater technical responsibility and progress towards engineering ownership of selected components, assemblies or product areas. /p h3Job Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport investigations into product issues and performance deviations.
/li liHelp implement corrective actions through design and documentation updates. /li liParticipate in product verification and validation activities, including testing, analysis and reporting. /li liContribute to continuous improvement projects for existing products. /li liWork with experienced engineers to understand product performance, reliability and manufacturability. /li liDevelop your technical knowledge of Enerpac products, systems and engineering processes. /li /ul h3Design CAD Responsibilities /h3 ul liCreate and update 3D CAD models and 2D technical and manufacturing drawings. /li liImplement approved engineering changes within CAD models and drawings. /li liSupport design updates resulting from product issues, supplier changes and manufacturing improvements. /li liMaintain consistency across assemblies, components, repair kits and associated drawings. /li liCheck that drawings clearly and accurately communicate manufacturing requirements. /li /ul h3Problem Solving Analysis /h3 ul liAssist with root-cause analysis of product and manufacturing issues. /li liHelp evaluate potential design improvements and corrective actions. /li liSupport troubleshooting activities with Manufacturing, Quality and Test teams. /li liGather and review technical data, test results and observations. /li liCommunicate findings and recommended next steps clearly to the wider Engineering team. /li /ul h3PDM Documentation Control /h3 ul liMaintain CAD files and product data within the Product Data Management system. /li liSupport accurate revision control and traceability of engineering changes. /li liCheck technical documentation for accuracy and completeness. /li liVerify that released documentation reflects the current product configuration. /li liHelp maintain organised and reliable engineering records. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liManufacturing teams to help resolve production issues. /li liQuality teams to support product and process investigations. /li liTest Lab colleagues to assist with validation and testing activities. /li liEngineering colleagues to develop and implement effective technical solutions. /li liSupply chain and supplier-facing teams when product or component changes are required. /li /ul h3Quality Compliance /h3 ul liLearn and apply Enerpac engineering and technical drawing standards, including relevant ISO and ASME standards. /li liReview drawings, dimensions,
tolerances and bills of materials for accuracy. /li liSupport compliance with internal engineering processes and documentation requirements. /li liContribute ideas that improve engineering documentation, product quality and team processes. /li /ul h3Skills And Competencies /h3 ul liA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline. /li liKnowledge of 3D CAD software; experience with PTC Creo would be beneficial. /li liKnowledge of 2D technical drafting using AutoCAD or similar software. /li liAn understanding of PDM systems; experience with Windchill would be an advantage. /li liA basic understanding of GDT and mechanical drawing standards. /li liAn understanding of mechanical components and assemblies. /li liProfessional working proficiency in both Spanish and English. /li liGood attention to detail and an organised approach to your work. /li liA structured and practical approach to solving problems. /li liClear communication and collaboration skills. /li liAn interest in learning from experienced colleagues and gradually taking on greater responsibility. /li /ul pKnowledge of hydraulic systems or industrial products would be helpful, but it is not essential.
