Rooted in strong community trust and the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, MRCS is committed to ensuring that communities are informed, consulted, and actively involved in programs that affect them. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pWe are looking for a dedicated Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) Officer to lead and support activities that enhance transparency, participation, and trust between communities and the Red Cross. The role involves designing and implementing systems to ensure that community voices are heard and acted upon throughout all stages of program and project delivery. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and implement feedback and complaints mechanisms that allow communities to safely share opinions, concerns, and satisfaction levels. /li liConduct community outreach, awareness-raising, and communication campaigns in close collaboration with volunteers and branch staff.



/li liFacilitate community participation in needs assessments, planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes. /li liSupport training and capacity building of staff and volunteers on CEA principles and tools. /li liAnalyze community feedback and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely, appropriate responses and program adjustments. /li liEnsure inclusion, protection, and gender sensitivity are mainstreamed into all community engagement efforts. /li liDocument lessons learned and contribute to internal and donor reporting. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications And Experience /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Social Work, Community Development, Communication, Development Studies, or a related field. /li liMinimum 2–3 years of experience in community engagement, accountability, or participatory approaches in humanitarian or development work. /li liFamiliarity with Red Cross Red Crescent principles and community-based programming is a strong asset. /li liStrong facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills. /li liExperience in working with diverse communities, especially vulnerable or marginalized groups. /li liFluency in Mongolian; English proficiency is an asset. /li liWillingness to travel to rural and remote areas. /li /ul h3How To Apply /h3 pInterested applicants should submit a cover letter and updated CV (in English or Mongolian) to with the subject line: /p p“Application – Climate Change Project Officer” by 25th of April 2025 /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
