This Senior Building Management System (BMS) Specialist role supports one of the largest BMS portfolios, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of BMS technologies to deliver seamless functionality and customer experiences. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liMaintain and optimize BMS technologies, IoT platforms, and data analytics. /li liMonitor ticket/work order processes and queues, ensuring high quality customer service. /li liAnalyze BMS data to identify opportunities for optimization, energy efficiency and cost savings. /li liDesign, implement and manage BMS Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Processes scalable globally. /li liDevelop and execute strategy for maintaining, improving and expanding general support services. /li liCollaborate with WWRE, DC, Sustainability, RME and other stakeholders to understand requirements. /li liUphold compliance with change‑management processes. /li liMaintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors, maintaining a customer‑centric approach. /li liProvide strategic insights and recommendations on BMS trends, improvements, issues, root causes, team skillsets and emerging technologies. /li liDocument white papers, manage timelines and stakeholders for BMS initiatives.



/li liLead training sessions and development programs for internal teams and individuals to enhance technical skills of field RME teams and BMS Specialists. /li liDrive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team. /li liWilling to work flexible shifts to provide 24/7 BMS support, ensuring global customers receive timely assistance. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liFluent in English (reading, writing and speaking). /li liStrong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in HVAC and BMS controls, including remote BMS communication issues, fieldbus (BACnet, LON, Modbus via RS485), network gateways and IP-based protocols (Niagara Fox, MQTT, BACnet/IP, SNMP). /li liBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). /li liMinimum 3 years of experience in BMS programming and commissioning in building controls or related field. /li liExperience integrating multiple communication protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, SNMP to a single platform with normalized data for standard visualization. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liFluency in French, Spanish, German or Italian. /li liCertification with Tridium Niagara. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal‑opportunity employer.
