Together, we create connected experiences that transform lives, communities, and the world with our work. /p pThe Amazon Alexa International team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and shape the Alexa experience for customers in Portugal. /p pIn this role, you will contribute to the product vision and roadmap for Alexa in the Portuguese marketplace — identifying customer opportunities, setting priorities, and driving execution across a complex, cross-functional landscape. You will work backwards from Portuguese customers to determine what a truly delightful, locally relevant personal assistant experience looks like, and then make it happen. /p pIn this role, you will define ambiguous problems, shape goals from customer insight and data, and design solutions that scale. You will make high-judgment calls with incomplete information, navigate technical trade-offs alongside engineering partners, and balance near-term delivery against long-term architectural integrity. You will take calculated risks in pursuit of ambitious outcomes — and own the results. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liDrive the product vision and strategy for Alexa in Portugal: define the what and why, not just the how, working backwards from Portuguese customer needs and market dynamics /li liDrive the product roadmap end-to-end: identify opportunities, prioritize effectively, and deliver measurable customer experience improvements /li liNavigate ambiguity; problems and approach may not be defined. Use expertise, customer insight,



and data to determine the right goals and design long-term solutions /li liBe the Voice of the Customer: conduct or commission customer research, usability studies, and market analysis to distinguish representative signal from anecdotal feedback across the Portuguese customer base /li liDrive data-informed decisions: define success metrics, analyze data and customer behaviour, and identify the highest-leverage opportunities for improvement /li liCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, science, design, localization, marketing, legal, and operations teams: influence without authority to build alignment across teams with different priorities /li liOwn launches and post-launch performance: drive awareness, adoption, and continuous optimization of the Alexa experience /li liContribute to organizational planning: participate in strategic planning, write narratives and drive product discussions with Senior Managers and Directors /li liEvaluate technical trade-offs: understand how technology choices influence customer outcomes, ask the right questions, and balance feature delivery with sustainability /li liPlease note, Amazon is an English-speaking company day-to-day /li /ul h3About The Team /h3 pThis role is part of the Alexa International organization, which develops and supports the Alexa experience across all international markets.
