ph3General Purpose /h3pThe Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position ensures that all areas of the facility are free of obstacles, odors, and debris, contributing to the overall health and comfort of those in our care. /ph3Essential Duties /h3ulliClean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors. /liliEnsure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly. /liliWipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris. /liliRemove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers. /liliEmpty trash cans and replace liners as needed. /liliSweep and mop floors throughout the facility. /liliFollow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely. /liliOperate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions. /liliKeep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary. /liliReport any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing. /liliNotify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment. /liliDemonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude. /liliManage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently. /liliWork independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards. /li /ulh3Supervisory Requirements /h3pThis position has no supervisory requirements. /ph3Qualification /h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.



/liliPrevious housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus. /liliAbility to follow instructions and safety guidelines. /liliStrong attention to detail and cleanliness. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /li /ulpAbility to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions. /ppBasic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and Division. /ppAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
