ppDescripción del trabajo Job Description The Senior MES Engineer will design, implement, and optimize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across Abb Vie’s global manufacturing network, directly supporting the MES COE Lead’s strategic vision for digital transformation and operational excellence. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate with the MES COE Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality MES solutions aligned with enterprise strategy and standards. /li liLead technical design, configuration, integration, and testing of MES applications for multiple manufacturing modalities and sites. /li liDevelop, document, and maintain MES best practices, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). /li liLead Communities of Practice (COP) meetings across Abb Vie’s processes and Champion template standardization and process simplification using advanced MES capabilities. /li liProvide technical leadership and mentorship to MES engineers and collaborators. /li liSupport Adoption of New MES technology and digital transformation initiatives at the site and network levels. /li liAnalyse manufacturing processes and data to identify areas for MES-driven process improvement, automation, and harmonization. /li liEnsure compliance with c GMP, regulatory requirements, and Abb Vie’s ways of working in all MES engineering ntribute to governance, technical documentation, and training programs for MES solutions. /li liSupport New Instance MES program delivery through Global Recipe Templates. /li liEngage with internal and external partners (technology, automation, operations, IT)



to support MES initiatives and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Science, IT, or related field. /li li3+ years experience with MES in pharmaceutical manufacturing, automation, or regulated environments. /li liSolid understanding of digital manufacturing concepts, MES technology operation, and enterprise IT/OT integration. /li liExperience with process improvement, system analysis, and technical documentation in multi-site/integral environments. /li liDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively across business and technology. /li liWorking knowledge of c GMP, pharma regulatory standards, and quality compliance. /li liExperience with MES platforms preferably POMS Aquila. /li liAbility to train/mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across the network. /li liStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pOwnership Accountability: Responsible for delivering high-quality MES engineering solutions that achieve strategic and operational goals set by the COE Lead. /p pMaintains high standards of process compliance and actively supports a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in MES operations. /p pAbb Vie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
