pullibLocation Work Model: /b Barcelona city center /lilibThe Project: /b Launching Spanish Sales Hub /li /ulpbWhat's the project? /b /ppImagine a world where passionate experience creators, the people who teach you how to cook authentic tapas, guide you through breathtaking kayak tours, or host local art workshops, don't have to stress about the boring admin stuff. Our client has built a vertical-focused software platform (an all-in-one operating system) specifically for these experience businesses. It helps them manage daily operations, boost bookings, handle payments, and scale their business with total clarity. They operate in the booming travel tech and experience economy sector, which is seeing massive digital transformation right now. Now, after conquering multiple European markets with a recent €12M Series A funding round, they are officially opening the Spanish market. This means you will be joining a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your voice matters, and your work directly shapes the company's footprint in Spain from day one. /ppbAnd your role in this? /b /ppAs a Founding Business Development Representative (BDR), you are the tip of the spear for this Spanish expansion. Your main mission is to spark curiosity in the local market, connect with experience providers across Spain, and feed a steady stream of qualified opportunities to the Account Executives to ensure the hub hits its aggressive growth targets. More specifically, you will: /pulliIdentify and research potential customers (experience providers, venues, activity operators) in Spain efficiently, without getting bogged down in over-preparation. /liliExecute a high-volume, high-momentum cold calling strategy, picking up the phone consistently, building your day strategically, and using channels such as LinkedIn and email.
/liliListen carefully and read between the lines to uncover pain points, adapting your communication to the prospect with a human-first tone rather than relying on rigid scripting. /liliQualify leads and schedule meetings for AEs, driving toward a consistent flow of 40+ high-quality demos per month once fully ramped. /liliMaintain accurate lead and prospect data in CRM; track progress and report insights while being fast and efficient in the system. /liliShare learnings about the Spanish market-local trends, competitor activity, and cultural preferences collaborating selflessly with the team with zero internal ego or competition. /li /ulpbOk, what should you bring? /b /pulliNative level of Spanish and fluency in English (written and spoken). /liliPrior cold-calling experience or strong evidence of personal resilience (e.g., traveling, working while studying) so you know exactly what it takes to thrive in outbound sales. /liliA genuine enjoyment of talking to people all day; someone who gets energized by human connection and building momentum on the phones. /liliA self-reflective approach to your work: You actively analyze your own daily performance, constantly looking for ways to improve your pitch, handle objections better, and level up your skills rather than passively clocking hours. /liliA "numbers game" mindset: deeply invested in your own daily metrics, using data to drive your activity.
/liliEmotional resilience to rejection: you view "no" as data, not a personal setback, and you don't overthink or hesitate before dialing. /liliHigh coachability and proactivity: you actively seek out feedback after difficult calls and don't wait around to be managed or told how to improve. /liliDeep business curiosity; you love understanding how companies work and tailoring your approach to solve their unique problems. /liliCultural sensitivity and ability to adapt pitches to the Spanish market. /liliPassion for experiences, travel, and the experience economy. /liliSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment. /li /ulpbIs that it? /b /ppLet’s talk about the vibe and the reality of the role. This is a foundational startup position starting this September. Because it is a presencial-first company, you will be working face-to-face with your team in the Barcelona hub, which is amazing for learning fast, but means you need to love that shared energy. It comes with a healthy dose of ambiguity and a fast pace; it’s not a standard corporate "clock in, clock out" job, nor is it a place for anyone who gets emotionally reactive to daily performance swings. You will be expected to bring solutions, not just identify problems. The target for this role is hitting full productivity by week 8, aiming for a consistent flow of 40+ high-quality demos per month once you are fully ramped up. In return, the company culture is built on trust, autonomy, and immense growth potential. You get to work with an ambitious team in a beautiful Barcelona city center location, with a package of €20,000 to €24,500 base salary, scaling up to €25,000 to €35,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE) as you hit your milestones. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
