As Head of Medical Affairs, Europe, you steer the European medical strategy to support development, launch, and lifecycle management of an endocrinology portfolio. You will lead scientific direction, align regional priorities with global medical affairs, and partner with commercial and clinical teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. This role offers visibility and impact across Europe, shaping medical strategies that advance patient care. You will drive evidence generation and external scientific engagement to transform science into action and patient value.

• Lead the European Medical Affairs strategy in line with global priorities
• Drive launch readiness and lifecycle management for the endocrinology portfolio in Europe
• Oversee regional evidence generation activities, including real-world evidence
• Collaborate with affiliate Medical Directors to ensure alignment and shared best practices
• Lead external scientific engagement with key opinion leaders, investigators, healthcare professionals, and patient organizations




• Ensure affiliate medical teams are trained on the science and engagement approaches
• Partner with Clinical Development, Commercial, HEOR, Market Access, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance for integrated execution
• Coordinate engagement with Patient Associations in collaboration with Corporate Communications and Market Access
• Align global medical and corporate priorities with country-specific regulations and needs

Responsabilidades
• MD or MD/PhD with 10+ years' Medical Affairs experience in pharma/biotech
• Proven strategic and inspirational leadership in integral or regional contexts
• Experience with launch readiness, commercialization, xqbhyrx and lifecycle management in Europe
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing across Clinical, Medical, Market Access, and Commercial
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to translate insights into action
• Outstanding communication skills suitable for senior leadership interactions
• Solid understanding of European regulatory frameworks and scientific governance
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity
• Background in endocrinology, rare disease, or specialty care preferred
