As part of SciY, the software division of Bruker, we collaborate closely with the other SciY and Bruker companies, working together to achieve our goals. /ppWe offer a diversified job in an interdisciplinary project team with flat hierarchies and short processes, and a secure, unlimited employment relationship in an international group with flexible working hours and a wide range of benefits. /ppTo complement our remote software development team, we are looking for an innovative, collaborative and experienced software developer (m/f/d) to contribute to the engine software of our mass spectrometers. This engine serves as the interface between the graphical user interface (GUI) and the instrument firmware, handling core tasks such as instrument control, data acquisition, and diagnostics. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliContribution to the engine software of our mass spectrometers, which serves as the interface between the graphical user interface (GUI) and the instrument firmware. /liliHandling core tasks such as instrument control, data acquisition, and diagnostics. /liliParticipating in the entire software development lifecycle: requirements specification, implementation, debugging, documentation, testing, and support. /liliImplementing new requirements and enhance existing functionalities. /liliCollaborating closely with instrument users and the software testing team. /liliTransforming software prototypes into robust, production-ready solutions. /liliWorking within an Agile project team and maintain active communication with team members. /liliYou also engage with colleagues from software testing, hardware development, applications,



and service departments in a multidisciplinary environment. /li /ulh3Qualifications and skills /h3ulliYou hold a degree in computer science or possess equivalent knowledge and skills gained through an engineering or natural sciences background. /liliYou have strong proficiency in C++ development on Windows using Microsoft Visual Studio. /liliYou are familiar with modern development tools such as Git, Maven, and others. /liliYou can understand, maintain, and extend existing source code. /liliYou enjoy working close to hardware, including testing your software directly on mass spectrometers. /liliYou are open to participating in peer code reviews. /liliYou thrive in interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively, even with colleagues who do not have an IT background. /liliYou are eager to learn new technologies, including embedded systems and real-time operating systems. /liliYou are able to communicate fluently at all levels in English /li /ulh3Why Mestrelab /h3pAt Mestrelab we advocate for inclusion and diversity.
