ppThe Eco-maintenance department demonstrates ecologically-friendly building techniques and natural alternatives to dangerous modern construction practices. A mix of traditional and local ecological building methods and materials are used. The department is responsible for not only construction, but mostly maintenance. /ppHelp us recycle and reuse materials wherever possible and make the most of locally available materials such as gypsum, cane and second-hand wood. We try to incorporate environmentally friendly building materials in the refurbishment of our existing buildings. /ppDuration: 3 - 9 months /ppCommitment: full-time /ph3Core Responsibilities /h3ulliAssisting in maintenance and improvements to our buildings /liliCarpentry and implementation of creative improvements to the project (new types of shade structures, bike racks, chairs and tables, shelves, etc.) /liliHelp with the general maintenance of roofs, floors, doors, windows, etc. /liliAssisting in plastering,
