ph3About the Role /h3 pbFull-time, temporary Science Teacher (paternity cover) /b at The British School of Barcelona, Castelldefels campus, starting October 2026. /p pResponsible for delivering the IGCSE Triple and Double Award Science, IBDP and A Level programmes, supporting our science curriculum and student development. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTeach Science at KS3 and double science at KS4. /li liDeliver outstanding, innovative and inspirational lessons. /li liSet high expectations and track progress using data, observations and assessments. /li liMaintain discipline according to school procedures and encourage punctuality, behaviour and work standards. /li liAssess students’ work in line with school policies, referring to student performance targets. /li /ul h3Departmental Contribution /h3 ul liSupport the vision and delivery of the science department and the school. /li liCollaborate on planning to develop an engaging curriculum. /li liSupport robust and formative assessment systems and intervention programmes. /li liContribute to professional development discussions and seek opportunities for personal growth. /li /ul h3Other Responsibilities /h3 ul liParticipate in staff development and performance management programmes. /li liAttend staff meetings,
